I've found the Mushroom Island (which isn't even an island) and MC says it's either Extreme Hills or desert. The co-ordinates are a little close to 0,0 for a Mushroom biome as well. Was it transplanted in?

The biomes seem to be all mixed up. I know of places that it snows in desserts.

There's a tool called Biome Painter that they could use to put the biomes right, if they want to anyway. It would mean the server being down for a while they did it, though so I don't think that's going to happen.
