PLEASE stop continuously talking to me about wanting to be my "apprentice" or bothering me about other things, i may be a town assistant but i can't do everything at once! please, let me finish what i'm doing first THEN i can do what you need, and if i cant, i'm not the only person in the world that can help you. i'm sorry, normally i would help you all in a heartbeat but i still like to enjoy minecraft.

EDIT: some of you may not know what i'm talking about but it's ok, i just need to relax on here, not get stressed ):

finally a thread about this matter... i were treated as a god in wellsprings, and had all these responcibilities because i were the TA who were online most of the time. i got so stressed that i moved to another town. TA might be great for some, but for others (like me and nickolas) it just gets too much. i got a brother and a mother with a depression, so i have to take care what i do. i play minecraft to get UNstressed, not stressed. if i get stressed from minecraft, i'm forced to quit. thinking of opening a poll on the matter

There is a button at the top and bottom of the page that says "add poll" but the topic creator may be the only one who is able to do that. Another thing I agree with both of you, when I was still the mayor of NetherFrost, although it was fun and still wish I could be the mayor, the only thing I could do was log on, then tend to the town and people's needs. Then I became an op, which is still hard work, but at least I don't have to keep the weight of a town on my shoulders anymore.

nickolas, could you post a poll here? something like "you're a TA with high responcibilities" "you're a TA with low responcibilities" "you're a town owner with high responcibilities" and/or "you're a town owner with low responcibilities" would fit quite nicely

I get the same pressure too. Even in v4 before you joined.
sometimes i feel if i help one person everyone else will expect me to handle all their problems.

cut all ta's some slack. you don't realize how much of a curse power is until you have it. same goes for mods and admins. They may have godlike powers but they sure as hell ain't a god.

Yeah i know ever since i made a town i've been fricken tired of everything happening at once but running a town is just as hard as tending to the residients of it.I think the TA should go have a private party somewhere.

P.S if we do this i'm bringing the cookies

a town assistant and mayor only area/cave/hideout? hmmmm very interesting idea, i might do somthing like that... it'll be password protected and given only to TA's and mayors..., like a nice little retreat!

Maybe if y'all are nice to me, you can come chill in my super awesome tower when it's finished. It's gonna be HUUUUGE. 25x25 and probably 300-400 blocks high.... that's around 70-100 floors depending how I design the interior. It's also gonna have a super secret hard to find entrance. So yeah nobody will find you in my tower. Hah. I am just messin. But if you guys do wanna chill with me and do something not town related, I would be down.

once problem with your tower idea... even if you go from bedrock to top you only get 128 block XD

WHAAAT?! You mean the server caps off building at layer 128? That's lame... I have never run into that problem before on any other server... I didn't even know it was possible.

i just checked, and it is only just over 120 blocks tall... So maybe a mod could worldedit it to be on bedrock for me... I mean it's not gonna be on a plot, I thought it was only town plots that had restrictions...

Sounds like a waste since you can spend like an hour mining netherrack and make 3000 - 5000 depending on your pick.
