Odd question
« on: 20 Nov 2012, 23:05:51 »
I find myself in a bit of a frustration generating problem, I dislocated my shoulder and cannot play games that require me to use both hands until my doctor lets me out of my sling. This means I cannot play Minecraft in any form unless I can find a way to play with just one hand, preferably a way that doesn't require me to buy new software or hardware. So I'm asking the community at large here, any ideas?

Try changing your keybinds to suit your right/left hand. I think you can re-kindbind almost every Minecraft function, I don't know! it's a suggestion. Get well soon!

I think I actually have this figured out now. Key mapping wasn't a big issue, it was more trying to figure out how to use the mouse to change facing on the screen while simultaneously holding down a move forward button. I actually found an old 4 button optical mouse in my old parts box that I mapped the move forward key to the forth button (I stopped using it because it's also wireless and eats batteries fast, but this is a good reason to drag it back out).

Thanks for the suggestion though Fatnoob. I wouldn't have thought of remapping to the mouse if someone hadn't said "keybinding", for some reason mapping in my head translates to keyboard, but binding translated as "any input device". I blame the pain medication, that's my story and I'm sticking to it... :)
