How come Bernard doesn't despawn during the scheduled mob clearances?

Because he's special and we need him in our lives.

1. He helps us and gives us advice when we are feeling down.

2. He makes sure no one steps out of line.

Okay... Um thats not what I was looking for, more like an actual answer that said its a plugin or something.

Bernard is made with a special plugin, so he doesn't count as a mob the mob clearance wipes.
