I have a problem with the nether... I am left with absolutely no glowstone or nether quarts due to the fact that all of its resources have been stripped within the first few day of it being reset. If the owner of this server could up the frequency at which the nether gets reset, i would more frequently go to the nether

Hi,

We try to reset the nether every month at the same time as the mining world. Currently everything has been a bit hectic, developing plugins and creating the world for Noobscraft version six as a result of this we sometimes miss out refreshing the world - (This also applies to the End) - I apologise for inconveniences this causes to your gameplay.

We plan to eliminate issues like this in version 6 by adding larger nether's and ends, and resetting them on a regular basis.

The nether is pretty huge, I've had no problem finding quartz and glowstone further out from spawn. If you go far enough, it's fairly abundant.

Same here, I went out about 300 blocks and mined 15 stacks of quartz. And passed tons of glowstone.

As something that might be a helpful suggestion, if you go to a less popular town, and see if you can find a nether portal in that town, as the nether is a endless generating area, if you go in to a portal that is in a place that less people visit or live in, less people might have used the portal that is there, which means it is less likely that it is little resources around :)

I would suggest going to my town Flintwood, but it is set to private at the moment, and I have no time to go on and change it, you would have to do some walking to get there, but I can guarantee that it is glowstone and quartz thru does portals :)

Mhm. What Miner said. Tortuga is close to the southwest corner of the world map, so our nether portal might offer some good stuff. Also try Nova's at the northwestern corner of the map (It's at coolquote's plot, look for the Acro tower).
