Hi , this is my first time trying out a server. NT looked pretty friendly, and had the whole town economy thing that seemed really interesting so this place is my first choice :)
I like foxes + kamen rider + jelly beans + minecraft . yip!  =^..^=

I have one question about rulings, perhaps someone might share a moment to answer? :  I read the generic quickstart/shopping guides in the forum. But don't see if there are any topics for mods/textures you can/should run. I'm not really interested in mods unless they are required on my end. I do however play single player with textures, like doku, realistic something something etc..  I'd do a search but the forum search function is temp. down due to high stress methinks it says.

Hello :D Welcome to this server and the community it is populated by, you seem like a really nice player already so I'm sure you will fit in perfectly with most of the community (Excluding the people that purposely come online to annoy people lol).

To answer your question, there isn't any mods or textures that you need to get the full experience of this server. The admins try to stay away from mods that require people to download it themselves to play :)

Welcome to the community my dear friend :) There is currently a texturepack in progress for the server, but you can use your own if you dont want to use the servers by disabling it in the options of your slient.

Like jayjay said, no modifications is required, but some modifications like OptiFine is recommended to decrease lag unless you have a computer which struggles for java.

To answer your question about Mods and Textures;

You are allowed to use most texture packs, unless they give you an advantage in-game such as an x-ray texture pack, this is also the same for Mods, you can use mods like Rei's minimap, but you can't use Mods that give you an advantage over other players on the server, as that is unfair.

Good to have you around, Fox person.   I'm new myself, and have found this server to be very welcoming and quite patient with questions and curious folk.
