I just added a big 'Noobscraft' to the Foob statue, but I'm not sure if the 'Noobscraft' is the right size...

The argument started because I asked him to be Mayor, if I didn't none of this would have happened. :/

It's not your fault, Dann. And even if for some strange reason you think it is, we will always love you, boi.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: factions for evryone

If you're having trouble with being griefed, the mess can always be undone by a member of staff (Unless it's in the mining world). If you don't want to have any chance of being griefed (or at least a very minuscule one), you can join a town.

I tried a server using an autolock plugin, and it didn't really work very well. For example, say if I was to make a 1x1 tower to get out of a small hole, then later on that day somebody tries to make a house in the same area, only to find out that they cannot replace their floor due to the aforementioned dirt pillar, wouldn't that be an unnecessary inconvenience? Sure, it stops people destroying blocks, and so long as a member of staff is there to clean up any randomly placed blocks / griefings, it's a great plugin. But surely if a member of staff is online and the plugin is not in use, everything would would be pretty much the same as if the plugin was.

If you real can't be bothered to read everything above (and I don't blame you for that), in short I think it just makes minor griefs (involving placing blocks rather then destroying them) more of a big deal.

Anyway. That's just my opinion :P

I'd love to do this as soon as the server goes 1.2, if that's okay :P
It sounds like a really good idea that I'd like to participate in!

I know why i have a lot. Cuz im tyja
*Cause
See.. This is ridiculous... You corrected him on a spelling? C'mon are you serious? That's the type of thing that makes me give a disrespect.

This is why I think that Respects and Disrespects are good. If somebody was to post a particular thing on the forums, somebody else can Respect / Disrespect them to let the Poster know if the post was good / useful / funny, or if the post was slightly irrelevant or awkward.

If the 'Respecting System' was gone, however, some people might not know what people thought of their last post, which might lead to confusions about whether to post another joke / youtube video on the forums. Probably not, but it might happen...?

Maybe to decrease the amount of Disrespects given, and possible increase the amount of Respects, we could be able to see who gave the most Respects / Disrespects that week / month / etc.?

A golden 'F' sounds like a great idea, but it would cost 32 gold blocks, which is 288 ingots (about 4 & 1/2 stacks), which would cost roughly 14,400 on the forum store o.O

Oh god, I remember my first days of playing MC. I didn't realize that lava set wood on fire, so I built a really tall wooden building with a glass dome at the top! I made a secret room behind a painting that I was really proud of, but then I added the incinerator. It would have been OK if I hadn't made it's container out of wood... My house burned down, but the noobiest thing about it was that I rebuilt it about 3 times after that, never realizing my mistake </3.

P.S. I've been playing MC since 1.2 (i think), but I only just figured out how to make stone a few weeks before Christmas 2011... Derp.

New? / A New Noob in Noobstown?
« on: 27 Dec 2011, 13:44:31 »
Hi! My name is Zalanaar and I though I would introduce myself before I start playing.

I am 13 years old, and I moved from Washington DC (USA) to bonnie Scotland about 7 years ago. I have been playing Gmod for ages instead of Minecraft, and even though I have been playing since 1.2 Beta, I am a bit rusty on the controls. I have an Xbox, and I enjoy playing games like Skyrim, Oblivion, Just Cause and Saint's Row: The Third. I came here from the Yogcsast (Because I'm a fan), and by the friendly feel to the forums and the great videos, I think I am going to stick around.

-Zalanaar.

--EDIT--

Sorry, I just realized that 1.2 was alpha. I think so. Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome, guys! :D
