I'm not new to minecraft, and I'm not new to Noobscraft. However, I haven't been on in God knows how long. After doing some searching on this site, I haven't been able to find out what V6 really is. I understand it's an update to the server, but why? What is it? Why is it taking so long?

Noobscraft was my favorite server because it's the popular only one with a smooth running town system. So i'd like to know what's happening to it.
