New? / Can old people play in Noobstown?

I don't think I'm that old, but I am over 40 and notice a lot of your members are somewhat younger. 
I've played on other PVP servers in the past and prefer the survival/non-PVP servers. I've had the opportunity to play on the Noobstown server on and off for about four months (my daughters acct) and really enjoy the community. I work in technology and loved legos, so naturally I'm hooked on minecraft and play whenever I can. I'm in GMT-8 and if anyone needs help, I'll be glad to do what I can - I like to build, mine and farm. Most importantly, I don't want to be anyone's mother in-game! Is it cool if I hang around?
