There is also a new mob, called the Enderman, who will not attack unless you look straight at it, but once you look at it, the mob will look at you and stand still, but when you look away it will Run towards you (very) fast.

why do you want to join us?: because i have been playing on the server for a while, and i really enjoyy playing on this server as there is little griefing and it allows us to play without having to worry about being griefed and have all of our constructions be destroyed like so many other servers.
additional info; i have played minecraft since alpha 1.2.6 and really ejoy the game.
