Given the new friend features and our international player base, I thought it might be neat to share friend codes with folks we actually sorta know, rather than just adding random people from lists on the internet.
Mine's 7894 1069 9260 ... if you send me a request, reply here with your trainer name so I know whom I'm accepting!
And please, no replies about how the game is lame, or dead, or what-have-you. Been there heard that.

Exactly what it says on the tin. The option to purchase an additional /home on an ad-hoc basis from /shop, at some appropriately expensive price (though please not as outrageous as a spawner!).
Even if the website store goes back up at some point, this would be nice for those who find themselves needing an extra /home or two, but not as many as, say, the 15 that used to be on the site.
What do y'all think?

In case anyone was wondering about my sudden prolonged absence.....well.
One, I got Pokémon Moon with me birthday money. So yeah. (For any mutual Pokéfans, I really liked how they changed things up for the Alola region, and thought the story was one of the best of the main series so far, IMHO. Now breeding Rowlets with movesets, if anyone feels like trading PM me. Next breeding project will be Wimpods, if you want one you can actually fight with.)
Two, I've got something stuck in my sinuses that is driving me INSANE and causing all kinds of trouble. The worst of which I'm calling "suction face", though it kinda involves the ears via the Eustachian tubes too. Have you ever blown your nose and had it go in your ears 'cause it can't go anywhere else? Yep. That's been my month. Kinda like kidney stones but substitute extreme annoyance for excruciating pain. So, haven't been feeling much like Minecrafting.
But anyway, TMI and tl;dr.
Sort version: I haven't left, and do plan to come back when things readjust a bit. Maybe after a doctor visit and some antibiotics or something....

After the Wilds update it seems there are some problems with chest shops.
Some days after the update, someone came to buy wool from the chest shop at my visit, and it didn't work. So I tried re-creating the sign, but no dice.
As an experiment, I went to Emerald City (where I am an assistant) and tired it there. Worked like a charm.
I've heard from others that they've had problems too. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the chest ownership permissions between town and Wild....in towns you are explicitly the owner, and each chest is created as a private chest, whereas in the Wild it's sort of automatically owned by the landowner (inherited permissions maybe?)
Anyway, would really love for this to be fixed, and am probably not the only one. Let me know if you need any more information.

Yes, I ask a lot of questions. I still have the old-school Minecraft account, not a Mojang account (hey, if it works, don't fix it; and it's not like I'm ever going to play Scrolls). But I was tweaking my skin, and the app I used insists that one use a Mojang account. So, if I migrate my old Minecraft.net account to a Mojang account, will that prevent me from logging onto the server, as a name change would?

Might it be possible to add a personalized message to sent gifts, instead of the default "player sent you a gift!" message?
It would be nice to be able to include a note like "I know you like these" or "your share of the loot" or "in return for all the stuff you lent me" or something that adds context and a bit of fun to the gift.
Perhaps this could take the form of /gift (player) (message) or something similar? And then the message could take the place of the default mail message that gets sent.
Would anyone else find this useful, or is this another just-me thing?

Looking around the auction, I noticed a number of written books for sale. Some say "Original" and some say "Copy of", like Whuck's Mining Tricks.
How does one make such a copy of a written book (without re-typing the whole thing)? I have a little story I'd like to type up and sell copies of.

I don't need much in a town....a safe town spawn point, basic amenities (an orchard, a wheat farm) and modest to no taxes. But more importantly, I'd like a town that's not going to take away my plot if life happens and I can't be online for a couple weeks. Is there such a place? In return, I can contribute a charming Tuodor-esque style cottage, which will only require one plot, and would hopefully add to the town's builds.
