I think your problem is that you are using a 1.8 client Steve! As the blocks are only craftable in 1.8, you will be notified in some way when the server is updated fully to 1.8 though :) Have a nice day buddy

VIPs do get 100,000 Noobz Drew, but I wouldn't really consider that a substantial amount or a deal breaker in the reason why they have donated.

A town is a collection of residents (or just one resident) with one resident as the mayor. You can apply to join for one, or do /t list and a town with (open) next to it you can freely join! :) If you have more questions, ask away.

I think it may be that you logged out in the mining world. Your best bet would be to type /wild chunks home (this only works if you have wild chunks however, as the command would suggest). So if you do not have a wild chunk purchased, I guess you will have to seek admins to teleport you out.
