White-List Due to major expansion in MorningWood I am placing a white list on the town. We are getting too many people to quickly to keep up with everyone. I know this is kinda a douche move, but the town is increasing at an alarming rate, and I said I was going to apply this later. And it is later. What is going on with my town? Did all towns get raped like mine? I am no longer mayor, all land is unclaimed, and there are no assistants.? What the hell happened.?! And not only am I not mayor, but there isnt one to make me mayor...?!
This needs to be fixed really fast, because there is already some grieifng going on, and there is no authority in the town..
I could care less about the rollback and griefing, that can be fixed easy.. But having no command in my town what so ever... That makes me mad..

Metal: Yes we burnt down your house. But it was in my town, and I had no use for it seeing as it wasn't on a plot and people want to build their own homes.
Coll: Your house still there. But you may need to reclaim it seeing as I don't know if I turned taxes off soon enough.
Demon/Bob: Sure, you can help me build it, whoever wants to build on it can. Does not bother me one bit. I will leave that plot unclaimed by the town so anybody can build on it.

Now now guys, lets not trash other towns on the forums. You can make our town look good without killing the rep of others. Let them do that on their own, and Geo has been on alot more so I am sure they are going to start work back up on it. and the 1k price isnt set for new players, it is set that way because money isn't a huge deal to me. I prefer to get my resources the natural way.
The 1k plots will drop in price when I start to claim less land. That is why they are 1k is because it cost 100 Nz to claim one plot, so 1k allows us to get 10 plots. Plus all donations go right into the town bank so we have plenty of money to live off of.
Geo's 15k plots are probably to stop new people that don't know how to build well from making the town look bad. I think that is a good idea, but I also think if they learn to build better they can take down their homes and rebuild to make it look better.
And as for the teamspeak, we do need to set one up. And I will look into that tomorrow when I get home from vacation. That will make things much easier and we can talk without stopping work progress all the time. =P
And the bonfires, we will have one whenever I see alot of people online. We will only have one once a week, and not always week, because I want at least 5 people on excluding me and assistant before we start it. I don't know how we will do it, but I think I will build a home and we will destroy it, that way if I don't have anything to build for the town at the moment I can work on the bonfire, so I always have somethin to do.

MORNING WOOD Hey all, MorningWood is back up and better than ever! As you can tell we went with a more village approach this time rather than the castle look. Reason being was the castle limited building space, but now we have more than enough room to build on. Not only did we change the look of the town but we added a few new things that will improve how the town functions. New Installments 1. Monorail System - This allows for faster travel throughout the entire town. It is a system of raised railways that take you all across town with various pit stops incase you find an area you wish you want to visit. 2. Separate Plots - This was a problem with the previous town, plots were not set up properly making it hard for me to stop people from building randomly. All plots are in a general area near the harbor and gives a suburban feel to the village. 3. Town Boards - I have installed a set of boards in the town square (town spawn) that give the rules of the town, tell news of upcoming events, list jobs that people have that you can make money from, and a board that list your advertisements of things you are selling in a shop or selling personally. 4. Bonfires - We will have a lot of bonfires, this started because I was destroying a home that was vacant, and everybody came and watched as I blew it up with TNT then decided to burn down the rest. Right when I started burning it night came around and everyone just had fun playing around in the fire. Everyone had a good time so I am making it a tradition. 5. Directory Signs - Something I notice in a lot of towns is that have all these random buildings and people get lost in the towns. I have set up signs all over the town to help guide people to the major areas of the town, such as: Town Square, Public Mine, Woodcutting Forest, Plots, and the Harbor. This is to help outsiders have a tour without someone guiding them, and to help residents find their way around as they get used to the layout of things. Those are just a few things that have been added to the town to make life easier on residents and myself. If you have any suggestions to things that could improve the town post them below, please no BS ****. A Little Bit More About The Town MorningWood is a great place to live with beautiful plots and lots of friendly people. Our town assistants are always helping with people who have questions and I am also always trying to help wherever I can. I am often busy with town improvements or helping someone else, so if I am busy and nobody is online to help, I just ask you have patience and I will help you as soon as I can. We almost always have someone online that can help though so you shouldn't have any problems with waiting for someone to be online. I live in the US, and I am on Central Standard Time and I am typically on from 9:00 pm (21:00) until 3:00-4:00 am. I am also on throughout the day for 1-2 hours at a time. But if I am not on there is usually someone on in the town to answer your questions. MorningWood is currently the most popular town in the server, we have 30 residents as things stand right now and the amount of residents just keeps rising all the time. Geo, all the perms were off, ringburn came over and couldn't figure it out.. Then all of a sudden they couldn't build anymore.. So it is working just fine again.. So idk what the problem was but it is fixed now.

Magic, I would say let him be an Op, but since he built that and has made it a town I doubt he wants to be an Op still. But I guess time will tell.

I like eastern time zone.. =D I live in central! I say let him be an Op..! I see him on a lot when I am on and he is a nice guy. =)
And dude, you could live in my town if you wanted. =) Not to take advantage... Cause that is lame. I get my own stuff, unless residents or assistants help me out.. Just a nice, friendly place to live. The only time I would abuse you is if I got griefed I would come straight to you. =P

Yeah, I am on late too cause I am busy during the day usually, one of those few people that play this game who still see some sunlight from time to time. =P
But the town problem has been solved.. some magic occurrence came across and turned my perms off randomly as I was typing this message... So disregard that.. But we still need another Op. Ringburn does a good job when he is online, but we need a backup for when he is not.

I know you have an op for these time zones, Ringburn, but he is Rarely on... He may just be busy or something.. But I have been having alot of troubles in my town lately and there are no Ops online in my timezone so I have to wait 12 hours for help. I know most players are from UK/Europe and surrounding areas, but the rest of us need help too. =(
This is not an Op request, I have no interest in being an Op... But we really need another Op in US/Canada time zone. You have probably lost interest in the post already and have disregarded anything I have said.. But at least I tried...
The major problems I am having are as follows:
1. Griefing...!
That is the only problem I am having, and it is within my town limits, which I do not understand because perms are set to off, Tyja was wondering if I have them off because he was able to build in the town, so I double checked with the command, /resident set perm off and it said, "Successfully changed permissions set to denyALL." So I thought my town would be safe from griefers and from stupid resident who want to build off their plots.. But no, this has done nothing to help. And we also made sure he was building inside the town limits, and he was... So I need major help because I am tired of being griefed by resident/griefers. I can handle almost any problem that comes my way with this game.. But there is nothing I can do about griefers... I hope I can get some help on this because this is getting on my last nerve...

Hey All,
I am not new to noobstown but I am new to noobscraft and I am happy with the way everything is set up. =) Very organized, some people may disagree but I can find everything I need easy. WTG Joe!
I am 17, 18 in July and I live in the U.S. Missouri specifically. I will be a senior at my highschool this year and I play Tuba in the band. I am an A, B student and I cant wait to get out of there... I enjoy listening to classic rock and alot of the newer stuff.. Not so much rap though.. Rap kinda sucks ****s.. I love playin games but I still enjoy getting out and havin fun with my friends. I am a guy.. and guys are pricks. So be careful ladies.. Cause it doesn't matter what the guy does or says.. He is still a prick deep down. I am strongly opinionated but I am not a douche about it. I put in my opinion and hope it works in my favor.
That is just a tid bit, but still more than most people. =P Hope to see you all online!

I would also like to be whitelisted for Morning Wood. Not sayin you have too I would just like to have a head start on the town by finding a good spot and getting supplies. Morning Wood is more of a player built town now. We just build the main areas.
Keep up the good work Joe, I love this server and so do many others.
And Angel, I used to play Xbox all the time, now I just use it to chat with friends as we play Minecraft. =P

Well, that puts a damper on my day.. Slept a total of 3 hours since the new server got up trying to get my town ready for when they added the towny plugin. And had a bunch of stuff ready to sell for when the shop got put back in. But I guess there is nothing we can do at this point. Everyone could nag and complain about it but that wouldn't get anybody anywhere. So don't do it people, its stupid and annoys everyone because everyone believes that they lost more than the next guy and a whole dispute gets put into place.
Something I have learned from my 18 years on this world is, put in your opinion and go with what you get. And we get another reset, so we work with another reset. Good luck all! Hope I can get Morning Wood back up and running within the next week or so. =)
