Hello there fellow Oakvalean  Well, I'm Patrick. 20 years, and I'm from the Netherlands. A little more about me? Well, I play bass guitar, I game (of course  ) and I do some amateur photography, mostly architectural and nature photography. I also enjoy exorcise a lot, so I cycle, and whenever I get the chance I'll play stuff like soccer, basketball, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, swimming etc. etc. Aka, a very active person! I used to study history at our local university, but I had some trouble with the way the study was working and I just didn't like it. So although my results were good enough to go on to the next year, I didn't feel like I would really want to do this for the rest of my life, so I quit. Right now I'm about to start a new, more practical study, Forest- & Nature management. If you want to know more about that, you can ask me everything you want to know. My story isn't really worth mentioning, but since James insisted, here you go. =P I used to go online on my clanserver (Dutch multigaming clan, also plays Minecraft), but since they dropped MCMMO because it gave them too many issues I didn't enjoy that server anymore, so for Minecraft I decided to look for another server. So thanks to the MCMMO wiki, I found this server in the list that used that mod, and I joined Noobstown. Right the first day after joining, and reading up on how this server works I knew it would be best to join a town, so I made a topic that I was looking for one, and got a reply from Halikar, advertising the town where he was a TA, Oakvale =) So the next day I spoke to fish_james, and he invited me, gave me a nice plot, and I started buildin myself a nice little house. That's now only a month ago. In that month (even while going almost 2 weeks on vacation), I've already managed to gather a small capital of 130,000 Noobz, an MCMMO power level of almost 1200 and I'm still going like a train =) I'm having a great time here and hope there will be many more months like past one

Because they are still busy getting everything up to date to version 1.3, fixing small bugs, fine-tuning stuff. It will probably crash some more the few days, until everything runs perfectly and all plugins have had a stable 1.3 upgrade etc. Just be patient, running a server isn't that easy Liam.

I saw a server notice "All intensive server usage is available again!" or something like that. And less than 3 seconds after that, server crash xD Guess not all intensive usage should've been made available again Ah well, they'll fix it soon I hope. Edit: It now says "Maintenance: Bug", so there you go.

Bringing the power of the bows down? Why? The way people were getting this far is already fixed by changing the mob's spawn pattern. With the changes you implemented now you:
1. Made archer an unviable class. Less power on bows means no chance at all to survive, with the risk now that mobs spawn right in front of your nose you won't be able to kill them before they give you at least 1-2 hits. Aka, you'll die in a few waves.
2. Made any class which depends on keeping distance from the mobs unviable, since a charged creeper can spawn in your back and boom, you're dead. Only tank will be a usable class now.
3. By adding a minimum amount of players to start (read minimal 4) you've ruined the activity of the mob arena. Whenever I'm online, we always go in with 2 or 3 players. There are hardly even 4 people on at my online times to start the arena with.
I'm happy that you changed the spawning mechanism of the waves, but please, for the love of god, make that the ONLY change to the mob arena, and keep the rest as it was.

New record with archer, got to wave 69. My bow broke at wave 66. So it's completely wrong that "even a good archer" will have his bow broken at wave 30. And it's also wrong that you have to run. All I did was sit in a certain corner and wait for the mobs to come to me. When I've pulled their aggro, I'd kill them, and only those from which I've pulled aggro. There's no need at all to kill all the mobs. You just need to learn how to play your class P.S. As for TidalMewMew, I invite you to come watch me go solo in the arena, and reach wave 60 easily. Not using any commands, not letting my bow break, and not running around like a mad-man for the first 20 waves to last. Then you'll see how easy it is if you use the right tactics.

Yes, when you reach wave 50 you get 1 diamond.
Before that, it is a mix of worthless stuff like bone, dirt, gravel, feather etc. and sometimes something good like 10 Iron Ingot or 8/10 Gold Ingot

Hello Noobcrafters! I'm new on this server, and I've gotten to understand it a bit so far. So now I'm looking for a town to join. I heard the price of an average empty plot is about 500, so I have more than enough for that. Also, I am a rather active player and will be able to pay the rent if it isn't too high. I'm from the Netherlands, so if there are some American towns out there, it will explain the strange hours I sometimes play. I'm not new on Minecraft though, and certainly not new to quite a few of the plugins that are on this server. So... if any town is interested, please do tell me.

Hello fellow Minecrafters I'm Patrick, 20 years old. I'm from the Netherlands. And I came to this server after having issues with my clan's minecraft squadleader (I'm in a Dutch multigaming clan) about the course of the server, especially the decision to remove MCMMO. So I started looking for some servers that ran that and here I am! Well, I don't know what else to put here that is relevant, but if you have anything to ask, go ahead and I'll answer it.
