Buckie, I hope you know I was kidding you in Zee's post, he locked it before i was able to clarify. "King Jaeger says : 'Buckie is a great guy and he is the king of a great bunch of people." So true, I quoted myself in the third person. That is class

Patience, grasshopper. They need to bring the new fission reactors that power the server on slowly so as not to cause The Zombie Apocalypse.

Oi! Is this some sort of European conversion thing I don't get? Like that socialist metric system stuff? What does 10-15 mins mean there? I am developing a twitch.

Some signs that are like the signs of chest shops that charge noobs when punched but instead of selling an item, they open an adjacent door. Or activate an adjacent switch.

I am catching up on a loved anime series 'Bleach' and waiting. Be patient everyone, you know if the server is down it is evidence of the admins making Noobstown even better for us.

I've had questions about this, the prize money will be awarded to the mayor of the town hopefully to be added to the town bank and used to the betterment of said town.

If I had time to get 20 members before 1 November too that would not be a problem xD I am probably kicking that many out
I get your point but just to clear things up the contest is for towns that have 1-20 members. You don't need to have 20 members, just below 21. If this contest goes well there will be other contests hopefully that everyone can join.

'Best Little Town' contest. All towns under 20 members as of November 1 are automatically entered. (if you'd like to opt out please notify me) Any towns with over 20 members as of October 16 are not eligible. Details are still being hammered out but the judging will be by the mods, the mayors of the big towns and Dadjaeger (Jaegeropolis is not eligible). Judging will be based on town member amenities, overall aesthetics, organization and whimsy (creativity). Judging will take place around the end of December. 1st place: 50,000 noobs. 2nd place 20,000 noobs. 3rd place is 10,000 noobs. You have time to start a new town before November 1st. Good luck!

Does it seem right to anyone that the server has been down for four and a half hours? It says "resetting mining world" but who knows? maybe Foob was sucked into the game and is herobrine now. We ought to save him!

Nope. No idea. I didn't even know it was going to happen. The mining reset on the first only took about 15 minutes.

I think they are trying to do it at an optimal time; it is something like 3 am in England. It is too bad that this is prime time in the States. It will be up again as soon as they are able, I'm sure.

That depends on the brother. And it is taking so long because quality is a concern that Foob and the rest have for their server. They don't want to just slap something down; they want to make sure it works *and* is good. Part of this being such a great server is the attention to quality that is shown by the staff.

I think that there was a high demand for sand and there wasn't any (that I saw anyway) in the mining world. Just a guess.

I think that this is a good idea but there is one major thing to consider: what if there is a version reset? I'm not saying that there is going to be one anytime soon, and I haven't heard anything about one, AND I am not privy to any sort of information about the servers plans, but resets *do* happen and that would be an awful lot of work. The fact that it would be so much work sort of points to the likelihood of a reset. I am all for keeping noobstown beautiful and bringing the community closer together.
