Hm... Those items sound perfectly fine to me so far. So would it only be Foods, Furnaces, Crafting Tables, Stairs, and Sticks?

It would depend on whether the items you're selling would coincide with the items someone else in the town is already selling, in which case you'd have to talk to them about it. What items exactly would you be selling in a general store?

Market Place / Dracomere Shops Available« on: 16 Apr 2014, 23:27:03 »
As of right now Dracomere has one type of shops that we are looking for someone to run. However there will be strict rules for this shop that you'll have to abide by if you wish to run it.
Rules -You'll only be selling your item theme, nothing else -If you decide to sell an extra item you must discuss it with the shop owner who currently runs that item -Keep the shop stocked and with reasonable prices The shop types that Dracomere currently has are: -Tools/armor -Mining/general blocks -Enchanted items -Wool/Dyes/Decorations -Redstone -Farm supplies -Wooden items The shop type that we are looking for is: -Mob Drops [Such as gunpowder, ghast tears/etc] [TidalMewMew has not decided if she's doing stained glass/clay, therefore it is not listed as an available shop yet until she has her mind made up, thank you!] If you feel that you're able to run this shop, or you think that you have an idea for a shop type that isn't covered already in Dracomere, feel free to reply here or discuss it with me ingame or over PM. 104

Towns & Nations / Town Statistics [Updated Weekly]« on: 16 Apr 2014, 22:44:15 »
Each week I'm going to check all the towns and make a report on whether they gained/lost residents and money. This can just be for fun or you can actually use it to track how well a town is doing, whether they're growing quickly, or even if they've been working hard on a project and burning up their money!
I will try to do this once a week every Wednesday, however sometimes I may end up doing it on Thursdays. Latest update: 7/3/2014 Next Update: 7/10/2014 Number of towns: 30 [Not including Noobstown] ~~Town Stats~~ Key: Profit will be listed in green, loss will be listed in red. There will be no negative numbers. If there is a blank, that means there was no change since last week. ~~Town Profit/Loss~~ *Note that every resident in a town gains the town 8 available plots to claim from **Note that when a town is in a nation they can get up to 140 bonus plots Stats for week of 4/30/2014: Stats for week of 4/30/2014: 106
Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Mob Spawners.« on: 16 Apr 2014, 21:56:33 »
I can't say I see much need for this, nor that they would be very helpful considering spawners don't really seem to spawn that much anyway.
If you need wool that badly, surely you can do like Crafty and Tidal do and simply breed in one chunk and lead them into another to keep a ton of them at once? 107

I actually wanted to point out that towny world does have ores. It's simply Dracomere so far that I know of that doesn't because of how the World Edit was done there.

I've done super breaker with an f4 pick cutting through things like butter and have barely seen this issue, somI'm not sure what causes it.pSo for me it isn't an issue because I barely get it, but I can understamd how exasperating it can be for those who get it constantly.

Support / Re: A question for the admins in regards to 1.8« on: 14 Apr 2014, 22:54:49 »
I'm pretty sure the only reason it happened before the opening of V6 was because of the massive overhaul that was done in the latest update, making it unwise to have opened V6 at that time. Unlike then we can simply stay in the non-updated version until everything comes out. I can't imagine any reason why they would need to shut down the server now.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Buying Town Plots With In-Game Money.« on: 10 Apr 2014, 20:21:52 »
I agree with this completely, even if the price is raised higher than 100k for even 8 chunks available to claim. Again, this wouldn't be actually buying the plots themselves, it simply raises the amount available the town has to expand with.
I wouldn't care at all the price that was put on it (Unless it was utterly ridiculous like 1m or something just for 8 chunks because you might as well be getting a nation at that point) because I'd still pay it just for the chance to expand without having to bother people to join just because we want a large PVP arena or something. 112

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be updating your version to get onto the server, since all the plugins and such need updated before the server itself can update as well.
There's a post here about how to get onto the server- http://www.noobscraft.com/general/minecraft-client-version-1-7-7-sunsets-most-servers/ 113
Suggestions & Ideas / Re: This has gone on long enough has it not?« on: 7 Apr 2014, 20:40:46 »
From what I understand you're not allowed to monopolize all the mobs in the end. If someone did end up building a giant grinder or something over/under the end that no one could get to that hogged all the enders they would get into trouble for that.
114
Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Add Dynamic Spawning to the End.« on: 7 Apr 2014, 03:30:21 »
I agree, it isn't fair at all that someone can simply create a giant area out in the void in the end and then have all the endermen spawn over there. That makes it impossible for anyone else to have any kind of spawner or endermen spawning around them, either in another grinder or on the mainland itself.
I don't see anything wrong with people having multiple grinders in the end, if that was possible. However it isn't because as it is only one grinder seems to ever work at a time. Having a fix to this would be very helpful. 115
Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Remove Flux Mining« on: 31 Mar 2014, 18:25:32 »
That's the thing though. If you look on the donate page for vip perk it says flux mining is specifically a vip perk, meaning vips are the only ones with it to start with. So just not having it for anyone would fix the issue.

Suggestions & Ideas / Remove Flux Mining« on: 31 Mar 2014, 01:03:45 »
Since it seems that the various aspects of MCMMO can be edited for certain groups, and that the VIP perks lists Flux Mining as one of its perks, I was wondering if it would be at all possible to remove Flux Mining completely.
The main reason for this is that it seems to not serve enough of a function to put up with the annoyance that comes with it. While on one hand it's nice to just be able to auto-smelt an ore that seems to be the only function it serves. It doesn't seem to give you vanilla xp, and I'm not sure if it gives you mcmmo xp although certainly it should do that. What most people do when it comes to gold/iron ores is to just use a Silk Touch pick so they don't have to deal with Flux Mining. But it seems rather silly for people to have to go out of their way to avoid something, why not simply not have it there to begin with? Then we wouldn't have to go around things and all the little irritations that come with forgetting to use an ST pick on the ores and it auto-smelts them. Hopefully if I'm wrong and there's some actual good perks to Flux Mining someone can point it out, otherwise for now it just doesn't seem useful enough to want to keep. 117
Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Please anounce the reset dates for Nether and Mining world« on: 27 Mar 2014, 18:19:35 »
I presume another reason why it has to be done manually is they might actually go and check out the worlds to make sure they're okay for people to be running around in. Such as that the mining world has all the biomes in it/etc, it'd be upsetting to have a whole month where one biome just completely isn't accessible for anyone to get supplies from after all.

But the white horse isn't even all that great. It's not even as good as the blazecreamy that I bought for 6k. So it's not that much of a problem if you can't buy it, it's really just for completionist sake if you honestly want every horse.

Support / Re: town plots« on: 26 Mar 2014, 02:02:32 »
It has to be on the chunk grid system, which when you do f3 you can see it on your values there at what part of the chunk you're in.
See the "(2)" and the "(4)" for the x and z at the end there? That's the position in the chunk you're in. It goes from 0 to 15. A chunk is the same thing as a plot, so they can only be on the grid systems like this. 121
Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Players Should Earn Chunks As They Play« on: 21 Mar 2014, 22:34:54 »
You realize the amount of chunks someone could get would quickly just be so insanely high they'd flood up the wild world? Even if you played only 2 hours a day you'd have 14 chunks to claim in a week, and just imagine each and every person claimed 14 chunks in the wild world every single week. Even with 20 players that's 280 chunks one week, 560 by the second week, 840 the third, and 1120 by the fourth week. It's just far too quick an expansion, it would clog up the wild world too much I think.
There's also the fact that someone could get on and simply move their character once every 14 minutes to avoid the AFK kick and then just get free chunks for doing nothing. While perhaps there could be another way of getting chunks for working, I don't think time played is one that should fit into it. 122
Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Auction system« on: 17 Mar 2014, 18:12:13 »
I've posted this suggestion before as well, Law agreed that they were working on putting this into the auction system. It's simply that they're trying to fix up some of the more pressing bugs and such first before they can really focus on the auction system more.

There were several people that had this last night as well, it would show them as VIP on the forum but not ingame. Lawrence will probably have to fix it for you, although I'm not sure why it occurs in the first place. I've seen at least four other people have the problem now outside of you so it's something he's probably looking into.

Noobstown General / Re: Wilderness plots« on: 12 Mar 2014, 00:12:56 »
I'm pretty sure that sets them to be able to build on all your owned chunks, not just the specific one chunk. Unless I'm mistaken on how that command works.
