And there's the fact that using a pick for that damages it more because it's not the type of blocks it's "supposed" to be breaking. I already have a silk pick but I prefer not having to use it on the Mycelium since it takes more seconds than I'd like overall.
Anyway, what pricing were you wanting Tyja? ![]() 353
Market Place / Re: Silk Touch Shovel« on: 27 Jun 2012, 09:12:05 »
I can certainly buy that one once he's back. ;3
In the meantime I'll be looking for another one as well. I have no problem buying two in the long run. I just want to be able to easily mine my Mycelium~ 354

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Banned players stats removed« on: 26 Jun 2012, 06:19:54 »
I highly doubt they remove stats of people who have a chance of being unbanned, or even those who are temporarily banned. The admins are fair, they wouldn't do something cruel like that.

Do the stats of people who are not registered anymore since they never re-registered when it was needed to be done get taken off? Elecdrof I think was the name of the person on the top of Herbalism, they aren't registered anymore at all.

Server Announcements / Re: Summer in Noobstown!« on: 23 Jun 2012, 19:24:05 »
On the mod side of things I'm beyond looking forward to all of the updates you've mentioned in-game to us. In addition to all the things that the members will get, the updates will make it 100% easier for everyone to deal with griefs/etc!
I think we'll all be super excited when the summer really gets going and everything's implemented. ![]() Great job admins, outdoing yourselves once again for us all. 358

Server Announcements / Re: Monster Spawner (Changes)« on: 15 Jun 2012, 08:35:36 »
Felt like posting this here since it is about monsters spawning and could relate to monster spawners.
I noticed that squids don't really spawn all that much. Tidal can attest to this, she went searching for a while and couldn't find any. This really decreases normal people getting ink sacks, which a lot of people want. I was curious if there could be a decision on whether or not Squids could be added as being able to change mob spawners to them? It would help this problem that I've noticed for a while now. 362
Noobstown General / Re: People asking to be unbanned after use of X-Ray« on: 15 Jun 2012, 08:28:14 »
It is their right to post an appeal however, and most of them are probably going to try to get back on the server.
And no Miner. I'm pretty sure the lb locks the diamond ore blocks, not the amount that you mined from them. So it would be pretty hard to me to get 56+ diamond ore blocks in around an hour. That's just mind-blowingly lucky there. And yes, even if you were that lucky no one makes tunnels directly digging to the ores. There are very obvious x-ray mining patterns that most every user forgets to take into account. It's pretty easy to find when they do it. 363
Suggestions & Ideas / Re: ./Town unclaim unlocking chest's as well« on: 14 Jun 2012, 18:18:50 »
I would think that no, that would not be allowed to be implemented. If that was implemented anyone could just go and simply unclaim a town plot to steal anything in a chest that was on that plot. Not a very good image to me.
The reason us mods have to be the ones to unlock the chests (Other than the person who they are privated to of course) is so that we can judge whether the chest is allowed to be unlocked or whether the chest should stay locked because the owner of it still has a right to what's inside it. It makes it fair and gives people security that their items won't just be taken at any moment when they're not there, or even if they were on the plot. 364

I have seen the mod suggestion thread. Tidal was not the only one who thought I would be a good moderator. Both Esp and Licksterboy said that I would be a great mod. So no, Tidal was not the sole reason I became mod. And obviously the admins had to agree with them if they made me mod. Tidal has nowhere near enough power to force them to make someone a mod they don't want to or don't think isn't good enough.
Also, there is no good candidate for the timezone that most needs it. Anyone who is a candidate just doesn't have the proper qualities that is being looked for. They would prefer not to pick someone who's not right for the job instead of picking one who won't be able to fully be a proper mod. And yes, I am sure that another mod will be being picked soon to help fill out the rest of the timezones. Ineed has said that by July everything shall be fine again, so I'm going to wait to see what he and the admins are going to do before saying that they are making bad choices and such. 366
Noobstown General / Re: Congrats Twisted!« on: 14 Jun 2012, 00:38:50 »
I stay up a lot of the time and play for many hours during our night. Even though I'm an American mod I'm assuming my unusual times of being on are what made them consider me despite being American.
Usually I stay up until 5AM my time, when other mods go to sleep a lot earlier than that. Whatever it was that made them decide they did and that's all I can really say. 367
Noobstown General / Re: Congrats Twisted!« on: 13 Jun 2012, 23:14:12 »

By the way, Foob is restarting to server and it should hopefully fix the login issue. Try to login in a minute and see if you can. 368

And someone could have gone and bankrupt you if you weren't careful and were letting people sell to you. That could have made it so you didn't have the proper amount of money for the tax.

Like people have said, you can get xp from mining ores and such. At least that's what I remember hearing about. It's kind of cool, but at the same time... eh. I liked having level 50 as max and having the level 5 enchants.
It's nice they're adding something like that, but.... I don't want to lose level 5. :L 371
Server Announcements / Re: [Issue] Allowing people to sell to you!« on: 13 Jun 2012, 01:40:59 »
Was going to say what Myrf said hours ago, but my ipod refreshed on the page and I rage-quit from retyping out the entire thing. Stupid thing's pretty slow.
That's the method I use, and if you're smart enough and you calculate the most someone could "bankrupt" you for with all your chests combined you'll keep yourself out of trouble. At least that's how I work. 372

It costs $2 to buy it from the main shop. And I know at least I always sell any that I dig up from the dirt or any that I get when I kill the odd creeper or two. So it wouldn't be all that hard to get it, in all honesty.
Sand you can easily dig up as well. |
