You can not get Veteran status. That was for those who donated to the site before the current version of Noobstown, it is no longer available to anyone but those who were there at the time.

However you can get things like Iron Miner status, which means you post a lot of things and get "ranks" up on the forums.

Actually the rollback feature has been taken from us from OakHaven, if I remember that was the town's name.

The entire town rolling back due to the mayor unclaiming everything caused the entire server to crash and the mods took away the rollback feature due to this. They didn't want anything like this happening again.

And that was a mayor, not a TA. So they might not be willing to give it back when that happened.

You may certainly join the town of DragonFire if you want, we're always looking for people to join the town. We enjoy townies creating different projects and like to help them with their projects.

Minerman is right in a way. You can ask a TA or a mayor to invite you to a town, not just a mayor. The town of Dragonfire gives new members 1,000 for joining and helps the town member get set up with everything they need to start off their minecraft experience on the server.

In our town you're allowed to get all four potential plots immediately if you so want, and since you have 1,000 to start in our town you can easily get all four plots and have 200 noobz left to spare.

We also have three XP farms: Skeleton, spider, and zombie. We have a large farm where you can get wheat, pumpkins, sugar cane, melons, and cactus. We have a large tree farm as well for every type of tree. We have a "zoo" for every type of animal (Wolf, cow, chicken, ocelot, mooshroom, pig) and a sheep farm for wool gainage.

We have a small cobblestone generator if one wanted to get cobblestone as well instead of going out and mining for a ton of it.

We have no building rules in our town, you can make anything you want on your plot, and you can mine in the mining world. I personally usually have my home set in the mining world so if one wanted a quick teleport to a safe place to mine I could easily take you there.

There is also a $10 tax per real-world day on every plot you own, but you can easily make that money so there would be no need to worry about it.

If you want some pictures around the town I can get some for you, just ask. ^^ And as Minerman has told you, you can spawn to our town with /town spawn DragonFire and take a look around it to see if you like it or not.

If you have any questions about my town just ask, but those are the main points I gave. Hopefully you find and join a great town, even if it's not DragonFire! :3

Every single page I go to half a second in the vote-thing will come down and fill up most my screen and I have to scroll down to see what I'm actually doing. It has NOT been 24 hours, the moment I got on the site I tried to vote and it said 16 hours ago.

I'd like to think that something like this would have its own channel. Otherwise if this would be done in the global channel it would completely spam it up.

I've seen people do auctions in the global channel and the mods have forced them to go into party chats because it was all just numbers

Yes it is always a risk when you invite someone new. But I try to be optimistic and hope that they're decent, if not then they will be dealt with.

I always issue a warning depending on what the person does. If it's breaking a small rule it's just a simple warning. To me you get three warnings depending on what you've done. And then you will get kicked from town.

If you grief the town a lot though then you will automatically be kicked as well as reported to the mods and have them dealt with.

That's simply how I run things, and usually after I warn someone they don't do anything again and are good.

I refuse to do that. Just because I'm a TA of my town doesn't mean that I should have and use a plot that isn't my literal own. I'd feel down and dirty like I'm abusing my power if I was doing that.

The whole point of this is so that a TA/mayor can have at the very least 1-2 embassy plots in another town while using their 4 within their own town. How in the world is this greedy? For those of us who feel we don't have the right (Even though we could if we wanted to) to use a home without owning the plot we easily hit the 4 plot limit.

And since we're TA/mayor it only makes sense that in our positions we would want to have an embassy plot in at least two other towns. We're of high enough rank to build in another town and be sort of like an ambassador to that town, which is in my opinion the whole reason embassy plots exist. Sort of like political figures who travel to another country so they can talk of treaties and such, except with embassies it's more like town projects or working things out between a town, any number of things.

It's far more important for a TA/mayor to have the ability to do this, while at the same time keeping their own plots in their own town.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I can't find it? I can see one for most blocks placed, but not mined. And that's only in the main world as well, not like the mining world or all worlds combined. Is it hiding in a secret area I just can't see?

Yes, I've noticed that as well. It's not good to me because when a person in my town loses their plot I have to use their chest to find out who's it was, especially if I don't remember because there's so many people.

Since lb was taken from us this was the only way I could figure this out. Now I don't even have this anymore.

You don't even bother to reply to the fact that it doesn't just have to be a Scandinavian mod. How many times has someone told you it just has to be someone from around that timezone? Yet you keep trying to get exactly a Scandinavian mod. One has to wonder why you adamantly refuse to accept any other potential mod.

Minerman, will you stop pushing for a Scandinavian moderator? I'm beyond sick of it by now, why don't you just come out and say that you want to be mod instead of beating around the bush when everyone else knows what you're trying to do here?

And as Tyja said, it doesn't specifically have to be Scandinavian, it can easily be anyone from near that timezone who comes on most of their time then. The mods simply probably don't have any good candidates to choose from so they can't make a new mod. I personally would prefer no mod to one that can't be trusted with the powers they were given.

I have noticed that in the last few days there have been no mods on for many hours at a time, but I'm assuming this is just an off time for them and that they're simply all busy. We'll simply have to wait it out and let the mods get back to their regular routine.

Only one word for this: F. You know which one I mean. Tidal, Masterrbc, and I were always worried that this would happen to a town and it finally did. I knew that money bug would royally screw someone over, it was just a Russian Roulette waiting to fire.

Plus if you use that naming system, how clogged do you think the chat would be? It's bad enough you have to see "[Member]" and all that in front of people's names and their text. Now we'd have a rank-tag on the end of that, making it even longer.
