Hello Residents of The_Black_Forest an incident had occurred today that I will regret for the rest of my time running servers and I am sorry to not only the mayor but the residents too.

As we were rolling back some griefs in the town the plugin just failed on me and rolled back the whole town, after about an hour of figuring out how to get the town back to its pristine condition we finally did it, hurrah!

Wait... Actually we didn't Every single item in the chests had been wiped and the signs meaning everyone had lost stuff and even some houses had flooded etc. Total Disaster!

So, as this is my fault I have taken it upon myself to refund you all with a refund package, this will not only help you re-create your house it will also make you richer (Hopefully). Go to the Refund point of the town, find your name on the sign and open your refund gift.

We have also put in the Town bank 20k Noobz!

~ Once again I am sorry and I would like to say a big thank you to assistant hchambers for sorting out the issue along side me, without him your town would have been much worse off. +100 Respect hchambers

Anyway long story short I am really sorry and I hope you guys can continue playing Noobstown and your great little town community.

Earlier tonight I was informed via telephone from (Waterworth) that the Economy had been reset, I literally ran straight to the computer and started to look into this issue and even spoke to our host directly, nothing has been found but we see that the plugin had an error at the time causing it to self-destruct its data base, this is unfortunate for us (as per usual). The Backup system that we were running had failed collecting data from about 3 weeks back when there was about 10 people on the v5 data base, we are truly sorry for what has happened and we cant do anything further about the matter.

Minecraft can be unpredictable at times and when you are running plugin's even more so, nothing is perfect and nobody is.. I have really put so much effort into keeping the server running for coming up to a year, yes we have had our bad times but we have pushed forward and got over them, time and time again. Later tonight we are installing our brand new dedicated box for the server and was set to install a new stable backup system that will not fail, I am so disappointed and stressed out that this has happened literally hours before we got our new system in place. Hopefully the future for Noobstown can continue at a some what healthy pace as we fight off all these issues, sorry once again for letting you all down and ruining what was set to be a great version of Noobstown.


As of now I will be going through the purchase logs of the Veterans on the online shop and will refund the money they have bought via points. I only wish I could do this for every player but it would be impossible

Noobstown is becoming more and more festive as the days go by, don't forget to keep opening those free gifts each day. (To open - click the FREE GIFT tab on the navigation bar) We have some exciting events coming up, don't miss out!

Noobstown will be going under a server upgrade soon that will reduce in game lag and allow the server to have  a higher player count (150+?) we thank all the recent donations for allowing us to go under such an upgrade (Thank you!)

NoobsWar server has been taken down and the game will soon be merged with the main server to create a PVP mini game with rewards that will benefit your PVP levels, swords, archery etc.. New skills we be added soon including enchantment and alchemy. The Skylands world has been delayed due to a bug, hopefully we will be able to have a Skyland. Quests will be returning in the coming weeks with some interesting NEW quests that all can enjoy, the quests will have item and money rewards too!

ALSO!! there will be a couple of interesting Christmas events coming up too that you wont want to miss... ho, ho, ho!

Soon the server will be open to all, you won't need to be white-listed but you will be required to apply for Membership (I know what your thinking... NOT AGAIN!) Well its not as bad this time, its an automated Membership application that will either accept or decline you depending on how you fill out the application. Remember to make sure you read through the application carefully as you could be declined for a simple mistake. (Wait time on Decline: 30mins)

When is the opening?

The server will open at 8PM GMT which is about 2hours away from now (maybe longer depending on set up problems) At the end of the day we want to make Noobstown V5 a fantastic update, and will spend all the time we need making things secure and safe.
