Update 3.0 will go live tomorrow, due to being busy I cant get it up tonight. Update 3.0 will bring the following:

Chest shops

An easy way to create shops!
You don't need to be on-line to earn money anymore!

How to create a ChestShop?
- Place a chest, if you haven't already.
- Place a sign 1 block near the chest (for example, above the chest)
- On the sign, write:



(Item name can actually be item ID or alias)
First line will be filled in by the plugin automatically.
Price is a combination of buy and sell price.
You have to have B near buy price (people buy from you), and S near sell price (people sell to you).
If you have both B and S, separate them with a colon - :
For example:



means that AcrobotPL wants to sell 64 diamonds for 10 currency, and buy them back from you for 5 currency.

- Now, when you finish editing the sign, if LWC is turned on in config, shop will be automatically created.

USING SHOPS
You could buy and sell by right and left clicking the sign for a long time.
Now it's the only way to use the shops.
It's SIMPLE!
Just LEFT-CLICK to SELL to shop, and
RIGHT-CLICK to BUY from shop.
(This can be changed in the config file)

DESTROYING SHOPS
If you want to delete your old shop, simply SNEAK and destroy the sign.
It's that easy =)

STOCKING THE SHOPS
You can either open the chest and stock it up, or click on your own sign - it will open chest's inventory (that way you can have chests not openable by other people for sure )

Price changes


Town prices are increasing from 100k to 150k

Money when starting Noobstown decreased from 100 to 20


Spawn changes

Members now spawn in the Great Noobstree

Spectators spawn at the default spawn area

VIP's spawn at the Dojo

Donation Update


We are planning an installing auto-donations you will simply be able to type a command, choose a package and follow the link to the website to pay. Once you have paid you simply run a command /buy claim and you will receive the package you have paid for.


This makes Donations auto-mated and makes my life easier, no more waiting to receive your items.

There's a bug in noobstown in which spectators cannot use portals so the're basicly trapped in the spawn.

Spectators can now teleport using the portals.

Lately since school as started and many users have left our server, Noobstown has turned into Ghost town. We'll soon be rolling out a new update, update: 3 that includes chest shops. We are also going to be doing mass advertising for the server to regain some more members.


I apologize that I am slow at accepting members but I can't be sat accepting them all day, I try and accept them all at once at some point in the day.

Spectacular idea. I tried to play on a server one time but instead of using this system, they instead locked new players in the spawn area and told us to join on the forums before being released. I didn't go for it. I think we'll have better luck here by enticing prospective new players with the creativeness of our communities.

I agree, any player that joins the server can now look around freely as a spectator. If they so wish to join our fantastic community all they have to do is fill out a quick application on the forum. We are also introducing a anti spam so that new player won't join and spam for no reason.
