We've been working on some changes for the past few weeks/days which will target certain issues and concerns on Noobstown, here are the following changes:

• /shop has been reworked to include a wide range of sellable goods, additions include to name a few: Wheat, Carrots, Sandstone, Coal, Wood, Redstone, Raw fish + More
• /shop has been reworked into categories: Blocks - Rares/Ores - Farming - Misc
• Voting has been fixed as of 5/4/2014
• Players can now greet guests by using /warp welcome
• Wilderness prices have been reduced further
• Horses can no longer be spawned with Mcmmo taming
• Lilly pads now grant more EXP
• Nerf to Unarmed damage + Increase level per strength gain increase from 50 to 150
• Fishing now requires less experience to level
• Diamond Prices have been increased in /shop from 1000 to 1200
• Ability to disable Flux mining as VIP - /flux
• Fixed Alchemy Stacking Bug
• Shop signs no longer break when empty
• Introducing North/West/East/South portals to Wilderness for fast travel
• Reduced Town/Nation/Ally/Public spawn price
• VIP Clocks now work similar to the Old compass, you will be required to craft one. This will no longer spawn on login.
• Depositing items to our Online Auction can now be done from anywhere in the Noobiverse using /auction
• + More

Due to recent shortage in Eggs the Noobstown Eggs company has decided to take drastic action, this will take effect throughout the day. Please be aware you may notice odd behaviour from players on our server as a result, don't worry! Noobstown Egg CO. has everything under control.

Hey guys,

We've pushed another fix for Towny, I'm aware after the recent stop there will now be further lost data but the issue should no longer occur. We're going to test this build for at least a week before refunds are dealt with as we need to ensure this issue has been completely fixed and there are no further problems with loss of towny data, after this period of testing and if no further town data is lost we will go ahead with contacting town staff and mayors for full refunds of their lost land. Once again thank you to Shadowdog007 for fixing and adding the changes into a custom version of Towny specifically for Noobstown.

Issues with Chest shop signs being destroyed after the shop becomes empty, therefore destroying the protection will no longer occur and has been fixed.

Thank you to both Mayor and Shopkeepers patience with these bugs, we hope the issues are now resolved and we can move forward with creating new and exciting improvements to the server.

Not sure if misunderstanding or not, but when I type /vote, I am told I don't have access.
I tried relogging but that hasn't worked. Is the problem mine, or is there trouble with the execution?

TIME: I will be on quite a lot up until the town is fully complete. I will be on further when the town needs upgrades or just anything for me to build. I will only be on to build.

PLAN: I plan on putting my 120% onto this town once V6 comes out. I plan on making major improvements to the current idea of the town. Right now, you may see it as a pile of mixed styles and interests, you have one section stone, another with some grass, and some parts with wood walkways. I plan on building a much better Skyland. I will give it one theme, with a wooden library as its spawn. The theme will be a more medieval look, with a wide open and detailed sky island. I will create premade buildings and separate islands for the districts where people will have their homes. After all of the building is finished, I plan on passing they mayor rank to Jackmwoodll14 as he is clearly much more active than I am, and I believe he will do a better job with the residents of the town.

I am still working on ideas for what it will ultimately become, but so far here is what I have come up with:

The big wooden building will be spawn, while the other homes will be various places to visit for chest shops. I plan on having a butcher building where you can buy meats and axes. The big area that looks like an archery range is in fact an archery range. You will be able to buy a bow and arrows here, and practice your archery skills. The building with the quartz and wooden roof is the marketplace, where other items that dont really fit in will be sold, as well as a place people can sell directly to the town. Where the big jail like building is (cant really see it but it is near the spawn)will be a farm, I just have not gotten around to building it.

Issue with ore generation, has now been fixed. If any more weird ore is noticed, please /ticket and let a staff member know asap.

trd1997, you will remain banned until further investigation. You are not in trouble, we just need to ensure that large amounts of diamonds are not being put into the economy due to this issue. Please contact me via PM.

Also, the semi-permanent worlds (Mining/end/nether) will be reset when Lawrence is back, the delays are due to us both not being online at the same time due to being busy.

In version 5 the donation shop offered both the opportunity to buy NBz and items, in this version we decided that rather than adding items to the shop we will only add money. The reason for this is that items have to be sold in order for players to make money, adding items to the shop and players donating for them could potentially decrease the value of that item if sold in bulk. This is why we disagree with selling of items. Remember, without players that donate, there would be no Noobstown, we wouldn't be celebrating our 3rd birthday and I wouldn't be writing this message right now. Players who choose to purchase money in order to enhance their gameplay is completely fine, remember money has to be spent and the fact you cannot buy rare items from server shops means that cash will be pumped straight back into the player economy. Towns now require applications and you have to be accepted, if players purchase NBz to buy a town they are not guaranteed to be accepted, if anything we look for dedicated players who put a lot of time into the server and understand how to finainially run their town through in-game earning.

Noobstown is turning three on the 18th of March 2014 ~ We'll be kicking off the celebration on Saturday the 15th all the way through until the 18th, which is a Tuesday.

- Saturday the 15th 9pm GMT -> Midnight GMT. Birthday Party/Fun and Games

Celebrating our Birthday with a brand new plugin addition, the drop party system. We'll be kicking off in the Party Hall with a player/staff driven drop party! - Place items into the drop box, and see your items shot into the air by firework to share between the entire community. (This system will be available for player driven drop parties and events after the initial release at our party)

WHY?: I've never enjoyed anything in Minecraft more than creating and making my town Oakvale with my assistants and town members. I loved how we were like a tight knit community and would like to remake Oakvale again in V6. The reason I gave it up was because I was on a 7 month internship and couldn't dedicate time to the town.

EXPERIENCE: I started out being a TA in Winterhold about a year and a half ago.  I created Oakvale and was mayor for about 8 months then after giving up the town, I became sub mayor.

TIME: I just now got internet back after moving into my new place, so I for sure have access to internet.   Since my internship is over with and I have a place with internet, I for sure will have time to play most nights.

PLAN: I want to build Oakvale again, but better this time. Plans I never got to in the old Oakvale will go into affect this time, and I will finish the Mountain of Noobs, once and for all.

PLAN: We already have the location layout and design for the town, Its going to be organized and better then WinterHold ever was
