I'm 10th  There are people/bots actively doing this on a daily basis, carrying out large scale gathering of Minecraft account names. I wouldn't feel threatened by this file, just be warning of any dodgy sites/emails related to Minecraft, there are plenty of people trying to steal accounts to sell, spam servers, or break rules. Make sure everything on your account is secure and you'll be fine.

This is a survival server, sorry. 
Was it some sort of bug then that it wasn't mobs in the mine world ? Cause it was mobs a good while back, in the early start of the mine world.
Mobs tend to cause lag when many spawn and also pointless spawns. Spawning of mobs in Noobstown is now dynamic, the mobs will despawn and re-spawn to a players location so that each person gets an even amount of mobs. We do this to ensure that there are mobs spread in areas populated by players not empty chunks. Thus the changes has allowed us to re-active mobs in all worlds, including the mining world.

You say that we will be able to "travel back in time." Should we not destroy our houses before the update in order to copy them?
During the change over the current world will be saved and moved to v6 as a Museum world, this means you can explore and look around but cannot interact with anything, such as breaking, building, opening chests the whole point is to enable those who want to manually re-build their old houses can go back for reference. Destroying your house before the change over would be a little silly, meaning it wouldn't be featured in the Museum.

So imagine V6 starts, you run our into the wilderness and build a small home. But will you have the money [if thats whats needed] to even start building right at the start?
You've got a really good point actually, I didn't think of this, but I assume buying land in the wilderness is an optional thing, it's only once someone has bought land that you can't build on it.
First few chunks will be free, price to purchase new chunks will start off low and increasingly get higher until you reach the cap. To unlock more chunks you are required to be active, you'll probably not even notice whilst you are playing but will be unlocking new chunks.

Sick spawn, Batuus and whoever else is working on it has been doing a awesome job, really looking forward to V6, at least now that I know 100% that I will get Veteran :p
Myself and Batuus as this current time, thank you. Many of the builds are still being put up, the video was made few days back so progression is still moving forward (Video highlights a small section of the actual spawn). Congratulations on Veteran.

Hello everyone, It's been quite some time since the announcement of Version 6.0 and we now feel it's time to update you all on the current progress. Building began shortly after the announcement and has continued right up until today, we are now happy to release some of the first snapshots of the new spawn. Actual NewsOutlining the new updated forms of earning Veteran in 6.0
- Top #10 of any Skill will earn Veteran (Axes, Taming, Fishing, Acrobatics, Repairing, Mining, Excavation, Swords, Bows, Woodcutting, Unarmed and Herbalism) - Top #10 Overall Power Level - Prize for Events and Competitions - Top #100 Most Active (Not based entirely on online time) - Earn 20,000 Tokens? Well you'll be able to buy Veteran Outlining Tokens- Used on the Token shop which will be available in Version 6.0 - Materials can be bought via Tokens which will give you a head start in 6.0 - The Token shop is separate to the Donation Points shop (However will work in a similar way) - To purchase Veteran (20,000) Outlining Issues regarding TownsAs previously mentioned we will not be injecting any money into the new economy, nor will we be aiding those who have a town in version 5.0. However, because of the changes in the economy the prices will obviously change accordingly. Therefore towns will be considerably cheaper than they are now around the range of 60,000 - 80,000 Noobz. Outlining Download our MapAs many of you have asked and wonder about, we will not be providing a download for the 5.0 Map. However, in version 6.0 a portal will enable you to travel back in time! The world will be for viewing eyes only (Almost like a museum). Eventually, as this is quite resourceful, the world will fade out. There will be plenty of time to rebuild those old building you have cherished over the past year, being able to see them live whilst you are re-building will be super helpful! Many people in game says 2 months, some says 1 month... and it is kinda confusing me :L
Can a Admin give some sort of date? Or at least something better then 1 month, 2 months.. you know what I mean 
Only reason I would like a set date, is so I know when to be on the server, I am very busy with work, so having a date would be nice

Easter is around the corner at Noobstown, and as always we will be celebrating the holiday in style! Today marks the launch of our global Easter egg hunt (Like Last Year) - Find them, catch them and eaaa-t earn tokens from them! How to join in?Randomly at any point whilst playing Noobstown there is a chance an Easter egg (Dragon egg item) will spawn around your location, after being sent the message you will simply hunt for the egg. Once you have found the egg punch it and reveal your reward! Hunting EventAt random points over next week and Easter day itself the staff will be hosting hunt events - During these events the spawn rates for the eggs will be increased massively. Look, I think miner is right, some of us just can't compete with people like mrfloris or people like him, I for example have given up on ever being a veteran, because i know i have no chance to beat out the people who are on here literally 10 hours a day. Ive been here since V2 and Ive donated a respectable amount of money, but forget it, i give up. Playing IS pointless, I have my 7200 tokens, and until V6 you won't be seeing much of me.
Dmone, The top 100 list is the only published method thus far of earning veteran, however as i have previously said above there will be plenty of other opportunity for you to earn this rank and tokens too. As we wanted to get this system out we have made the goals straight forward, to be active. I totally understand there are others out there that are dedicated people, they may have jobs, school and whatever else which will stop them getting in the top 100 bracket. Earning veteran for v6 simply means stick with us and you will be rewarded, we know this is a tough time for you all and us too. Come online throughout the remaining months of v5, join in with events and competitions or leveling skills and you will be in for a chance of gaining the status.

Again, you guys aren't understanding. This is the STRAIGHT forward method of earning tokens, it's not the only way if you can't do this method then join in with the other stuff such as the events and competitions. Just because you cannot be online as much as the others shouldn't hold you back from earning just as much tokens as those people.

It is not the Token Program itself, I like everything else about it then the whole be active thing.
I understand that, the whole concept of the token program is to keep people busy on the server whilst we work on v6 - This means activity. Doesn't mean sit online and get rewarded the activity will be based on a range of things. You might not be as active as others but that doesn't make you any different, you'll still be able to join in and earn tokens.
