The nether is pretty huge, I've had no problem finding quartz and glowstone further out from spawn. If you go far enough, it's fairly abundant.

No, once v5 ends all those people in the top 10's will be Veteran.

Before 1.3 I was using Faithful 64x64. I really like that it wasn't too different from default. Using default right now and I must say, it's not too easy on the eyes.

I agree with Krazzy, but getting creative with the pvp arenas would be fun. If we could play in different arenas like a ship or something. Sort of like how maps are in PS3/XBL games.

I can see both sides, but I imagine if stone generators are allowed, people would just stay logged into MC with a weight on their mouse all day to level their mining skill. And that would kinda kill the mining statistics. It's not very impressive to see who could leave their computer on for the longest.
