Hopefully Bukkit has known the date for quite some time and work along side Mojang I hope for a smooth update.
Word around the internets is that the bukkit teams going to be at Minecon, so when Notch releases Minecraft 1.9, the bukkit team will do a simultaneous bukkit build for the latest version. So it's up to then to detrmine how fast they can get it out and tested. But I do not know this for sure, this may or may not be the case

Its the Random graphical glitches, like the chat, its unreadable with the glitches.
I Sure texture packs can't change the chat.

Greetings! i've been recently been having intermittent graphical issues with mine craft that sometimes, when the conditions are perfect, bug up and render everything horribly wrong. Ill be posting some of the best ones here for you to view minecraft's Epic rendering of, skins, mobs, items, chat, and much More . The world has lost a very intelligent, bright, and amazing individual.
I myself am saddened by his passing, he is one of my technology hero's,
every June I am always ready to watch the WWDC Opening keynote, When Steve Jobs walked onto that stage, I knew, we all new that we would see something that will blow our minds, and in 2007 it did, with the unveiling of the iPhone, that revolutionized the smartphone we all know today, with out it, would we have the amazing iPod touch, iPad, and the brand new iPhone 4S that was announced on just on Tuesday.
We wont see the effect of Steve Jobs not being at apple for a couple of years down the road, but sooner or later, Tim Cook (now the CEO of Apple) and the executive team at Apple will have to make there own decisions regarding the path of the company in this post-Steve Era.
Its a sad time in the tech world, I just wish i could have met him once.

Yeah if you use the downloaded client, you have to make sure you can connect and login to minecraft, it won't work if you play offline

Hrs per day: 3-4 hours at night
Why do I want this role? It gets on my nerves and saddens me about all this "greifing" that happens in game and posts on the forums, I know that I can't stop the griefing, but at least be there for the people when I'm on. Besides the greifing I do enjoy helping people that have any needs while on the server, and unlike some people, I enjoy helping the new people that join the server, it gives me a challenge.
Past experiences :Running my own personal private test bukkit server For my home network
Time zone : Eastern Standard Time (GMT -5:00)
Additional information. I am very mature for my age and I take being an "op" a position for me that will help give back to and offer my services for Noobstown, it will also keep me busy.
I have a rare and unique sense of humor.
I do keep an eye on the bukkit forums and I know a lot of commands off by heart.
