The version of Bukkit which is being used on the temporary server currently, isn't a stable release by Bukkit.org and so we are testing it on a world which isn't as important currently, before moving it onto the actual V5 world.

So Is Veteran Better Than VIP Or Not?
They are exactly the same thing, other than VIP isn't unlimited it only lasts for 30 days. Whereas being a Veteran lasts forever.

if i'm correct then no, Veterans are people who donated before V5, and VIP's are all the donators once V5 has been introduced.
Almost there: - Veterans are people who donated before V5 as you said.
- Supporters are people who donate once V5 has been introduced.
- VIPs are people who decide to upgrade their "Supporter" account, using the Points you get for donating now.

I agree it should be 2. But it is just 1.0.0 without the beta; before it was like: "Minecraft 1.7.3 Beta" now it will just be "Minecraft 1.0.0". So Beta 1.9 never existed.

We cannot make exceptions just for you, it wouldn't be fair. And it wouldn't be fair to not reward those who have donated. Plus as I mentioned in another topic, these first 3 days of V5 are likely to turn into more of a testing and bug fixing time as we attempt to prepare to give all users access. Can Anyone Please Give Me A Rough Idea When The Server Will Be Up And Running? 
Whenever Bukkit release their version of Minecraft 1.0.0 . Once that happens it won't be long at all before V5 is up for Veterans.

And, for a normal person, like me, who is not a veteran or a vip, who has been here since v2, approximately how long until i get to play?

You will get access 3 days after the Veterans have access. This is like a testing period to allow us to test our new systems with smaller numbers of users than we may experience if it was just a sudden full release. As for stats and money, I would hope they are being reset, but to be honest I do not know.

Thanks to everyone who donated to Noobscraft and the Noobstown server...this topic is now going to be locked in preparation for the V5 donation and Points system. Of course you can still donate, just after tomorrow there will be no need to post your transaction IDs, etc. Thanks again and I hope you continue to support us once the easier and automated system is released !

If you wish to take us up on the offer of the "Veteran" status; today is the last real day when donations will be paid and processed (providing they aren't e-checks) before V5 is released to Veterans. Just a note. Donations made after today will mean you are NOT eligible to receive the "Veteran" status and will just become a basic "Supporter", plus you won't be able to access the server until at least 3 days after it is released to Veterans . Enjoy!

Lawrence.., If the new v5 map will be in HD, how about you make the live map for it now, so it renders by the time you link it to the forum? like.., make a page thats not access able through the forum, so it's loaded out by the time we get to v5. then add it to the site? Sorry if this is mumblejumbled but I'm kinda tired Xd
