With the ability to turn PvP off this could counter your previous argument of people teleporting in and pawning people
But then the multiple spawns need disabling for those who want to take part in the PvP?

Although it is a nice idea I don't think it should be added to a PvP server, because you could use it to just 'flit' between areas pwning people without them having a chance to get you back?

Question: Will you be 'sorting' the shop before the server is released? Because if not, how do we afford the protection? Question 2: Will there be a limit on land you can claim? Because super '1337' people who are loaded will be in theory about to buy huge chunks of the map? Note that I never ever use computers to construct things. Pastels+paint+paper= 98% of my pieces.
It's a shame because I'm known for actually building stuff like this.
Wow that's pretty good, however the physics of the image slightly fail, the lava and water meet? Otherwise I am really impressed

If you issue is with donators, I believe (however am not certain) that they ONLY recieve the items which they originally got for donating (which is fair? they paid for them?)? If I am wrong and they get everything back, I too am annoyed .

General Information
The while-list is only in place during periods of maintenance currently.
Why does it say I am not white-listed then?
If it says you aren't white-listed then it is most likely that the server is down for maintenance! (Check the 'Server Announcements' board for information there may be about this.)

I agree, I don't mind a PVP server however I think there should be some areas where we can get away from all the fighting. But I will continue playing whatever I went for 'Whatever Fatnoob thinks is best.' too

My suggestion would be to 'reinstall' Minecraft, delete everything (not just the bin, but you can keep saved worlds), this is what I did when I had the same issue and it fixed it  .

In a recent crash or something I don't know what happened I ended up coming back online and my stuff (inventory) was gone and I had someone elses stuff... I now have a load of spades some glowstone dust, coco beans and a few other things. Plus I ended up spawning in the ghosttown area (behind it where someone was clearly digging around)... I had before a clock, compass etc set in my active bar inventory thing and the rest of it was pretty full... Anyway I was wondering if the guy/girl who I appear to have swapped inventories wanted to swap back because I have lost quite a lot of stuff. (not that they probably would because I had more in my inventory than they have ) I believe others have had the same issue so maybe if you post here what you lost and what you now have it may help solve the issue?

it says i'm not whitelisted? If your adding the whitelist back please whitelist me.
The whitelist is the way they block users from accessing the server during maintenance. (Once they have done what the first post explained all users will be whitelisted again. ).

My suggestion if you want to protect yourself completely would be to encase anything you want 100% protecting with private furnaces (it looks horrid and takes forever to do) but it works . Otherwise do as explained above: don't touch it and ask an admin/op for assistance.

I like the idea, however... the problem with this for me is i dig really long tunnels and if it stays dark behind me when i turn around to go drop stuff off i dont wanna b fighting mobs on the way out of my mine...
I assume there is still a way to place torches?
