Can't wait !! hi i own a town and it says im not whitelisted so can i be on the white list and also my town residents fifa110 mathieu1067 and zant98
it says i'm not whitelisted? If your adding the whitelist back please whitelist me.
The whitelist is the way they block users from accessing the server during maintenance. (Once they have done what the first post explained all users will be whitelisted again. ).

My suggestion if you want to protect yourself completely would be to encase anything you want 100% protecting with private furnaces (it looks horrid and takes forever to do) but it works . Otherwise do as explained above: don't touch it and ask an admin/op for assistance.

I like the idea, however... the problem with this for me is i dig really long tunnels and if it stays dark behind me when i turn around to go drop stuff off i dont wanna b fighting mobs on the way out of my mine...
I assume there is still a way to place torches?

The forum web server has been upgraded to cope with the higher volumes of traffic it is now receiving this should make viewing the forum even easier and faster! Enjoy.

Don't take away items, it's already missing a lot as it is.
I believe the change has already happened. (Many items have been removed now)

A small update, but I wanted to tell you all about it...I have now added an option to enter your in-game name (IGN as I have called it) (Your Minecraft username) to the forum. It will appear on your profile and next to every post you make so other users know who you are if your forum username isn't the same as the one you use to play Noobscraft. (But you can set it even if they are the same ). How to set your IGN on the forumProfile > Modify Profile > Forum Profile > IGN (Simply enter your in-game username in the box next to that) > Save If you have any comments/questions on this update post below!

I have updated the boards into what I believe to be a clearer more logical layout. There have been a few changes which I will attempt to list below: - Noobstown now has its own category and with that the original child boards of the 'Noobstown General' have been split into main boards.
- Guides and Help have been split into two separate boards hopefully this will make finding guides and getting help easier.
- Plugin reguests have now been moved into the 'Suggestions & Ideas' board.
- The 'Highscores' board has been removed and the topic inside it has been moved to the 'Competitions' board.
- The 'Donation' board has been removed and the topic moved to the 'Noobstown General' board!
- The 'Ventrillo' board has been removed and the topic on how to connect has been moved to the 'Guides' board!
- The 'Server' board with its child boards have now got their own category, and many of the child boards have been made into full boards.
- The 'Ban Request' board has been renamed the 'Report User' board.
- Both the Op and Live Streamer application topics have been moved to the 'Noobstown General' board.
- The 'Other' board has been made into its own category.
- The 'New?' board has been moved into the newly formed 'Noobstown' category.
I hope the changes make using the Noobscraft forum even easier and more enjoyable... Obviously I am open to comments about these changes; please feel free to post your comments and suggestions about them in a reply to this topic! - ItsLawrence

Sorry about the recent mass changing of the logo over the last hour, I have been trying to design one to match the new theme (WOO) without success. I will get onto another one in a bit for now though you can enjoy this very simple one with a poor border for the comedy value of it!

I am just thought I would inform you all about a recent change to staff here at Noobscraft... Well only one change (that I know of) to be honest; I am the new 'Noobscraft Webmaster' which basically means I will be managing and updating the site, plus ensuring that it is running fine! This comes after the recent forum server migration. If you have any issues or problems around the site please feel free to PM me. Welcoming himself to the team, - ItsLawrence

The forum has been moved to a new server after some issues which caused site downtime for a few hours on the last one. (Many of you may have noticed this, sorry but at least it is back up now.) Obviously you are able to see the site however this may not be true for all users yet, as their own computer's cache will need to update. (It shouldn't take long though!)
Due to this sudden change there may be a few errors around the site, but these will be sorted in the next few days!
There will also be a new theme coming to the forum in the next few days, for now you will have to put with the default one (sorry). Plus I will be updating the forum boards into new categories etc. to make using this forum more pleasant and easier!
Again sorry for the inconvience caused by the recent downtime,
- ItsLawrence (Webmaster)

... Angel means when you click on the Live Map topic it redirects you to it so theres no need to click on this link Good job anyway.
Thanks for confirming that , even though Angel_Lord did tell me in-game ... Some users however do not always visit the forum and so won't be able to click the link on here, so it is easier to just remember that (but if they wanted to do that they could just bookmark it ). As I said to Angel_Lord in-game though, my main aim for this topic was actually to inform Fatnoob or Waterworth or someone of importance that the link they redirect to is 'messy' compared to the domain version.

... "looks at the forum topic stated "Live map" and sighs"
What is the problem?

As you (should) know Noobscraft has a live map, however on this forum and the link on the old site it was shown at the IP: 184.154.44.14 and then port 8123...this is quite hard to remember I think... So to the point you can actually view the map by just visiting noobstown.com:8123 I personally think it is a lot easier doing this, just thought I would post it for anyone who didn't know this little (slightly useless) tip. .

Although it isn't really much of a problem but the background on this forum is a .bmp image. This means the site takes years to load fully because bitmaps are not a very 'web-friendly'. The image is: http://www.noobscraft.com/Themes/ds-natural_20rc5/images/custom/gei4vjwm.bmp Although most people probably don't care, I think that converting the image to a .png would make it load faster , however it doesn't really matter.

Was thinking about going outside in real life then I noticed a severe lack of creepers, thought that it was a bit too scary to continue, so sat here typing this instead .
