I'll look into this issue of the order appearing to be random for you further and may release a fix for it later tonight, thanks for reporting it. As for logging in: If you want to stay logged in indefinitely you can visit http://www.noobscraft.com/login/ and from there: login and select the "Always stay logged on" option.

The website will have updated/new features added to it on the release of V6, but we are also pushing to bring you the new server experience as soon as we can so it is likely that as with the initial release of V5 there will be very few aesthetic changes to the site, but it is on our todo list once we've released the server. Hopefully that explains our plans in regards to V6 and the site.

On a technical side of things having a creative world would be something we'd really need to think carefully about in terms of security of items and ensuring that items can't go from one world to another, this is probably the main barrier we have currently. But as Waterworth explained we will hopefully have loads of fun things to do in V6 so you shouldn't need a creative world .

There could be a number of reasons (any of these): - amanduhmiller used to be a moderator and she edited it while she was,
- It's a very cool natural formation in the bedrock,
- It was at some point edited by a moderator/admin,
- Someone has a super pickaxe which can magically break bedrock?
- The textures you are using are edited to look like bedrock,
- We're all imagining it and really it's just stone,
- Or possibly something else

So I registered on this website correctly and went in-game and I was a guest. My website account has been activated but my game account is still guest. My names are the same and it isn't working... please help.

UPDATE: The server should now be back online again, sorry for the downtime.
The datacentre where Noobstown's server runs from is currently experiencing an unexpected network outage, and because of this the server is down right now. We'd like to apologise for this and ensure you that we're working on getting Noobstown back online as fast as possible.
Again sorry for the downtime, it will be back online soon. We'll post any more information once we get it; although the downtime hopefully won't be too long.

The server has now been updated to 1.6 please follow the instructions given in the client for information on how to upgrade your launcher.As most of you will know already Minecraft 1.6 is planned for release sometime tomorrow (Monday, 1st of July). This update will not go live on Noobstown at the same time as the client update is released. As normal; it will take us time to update our server files, and as such we recommend you do not update straight away. We will make a public post here on the site when we have updated so that you can too. This new update involves a brand new launcher, which will of course need downloading to play once we've updated. An update for this client is likely to be posted on Mojang.com, I'll update this post once we have more information regarding this (and we'll be sure to explain it once we update the server too). I'd like to stress though that our update to Minecraft 1.6 will not be the release of V6, and announcements will be posted separately regarding this as it gets closer.

Oh I didn't even think about that! That's why you guys run the server! So i assume there is no possible way to implement like a one block radius of user protection in general around chest so no one can place hoppers beside them, or maybe just hopper protection if its not by the same player? Unless that would make other complications for other things.
We love to hear of great and imaginative suggests on how to get round issues like this, however we have already looked into similar ideas to those you suggest; and sadly at this stage they aren't really a technically-sensible or viable option for the reward gained. Thus we now are waiting for a third-party developer to add support for hoppers and droppers in our storage protection plugin. Once this has been added and we're confident in that solution, they are likely to be added.

We're aware of the amazing things that the user of hoppers and droppers can offer in-game however; the reason that hoppers (and droppers) haven't already been enabled for players is because they provide an option to remove contents from chests and other forms of storage.
Thus people would be able to steal items from others even if their storage was protected.

As you can see, i signed up to Noobscraft.com. But, when i go on the actual server to play, it still says i'm a guest!

So to my understanding the V6 world is there, and you know what the map looks like, all you gotta do is finish building things and implement the software stuff like auction, etc.
So why not do a V6.0 map, so we can all see what the map will look like? So like, if I were looking for a chain of islands, or a large mountain, to build on, once V6 is ready, I could find it and sort of have everything planned out beforehand, so we don't spend the first week of V6 looking for a suitable location for a town.
Unless it would be a spoiler and you want the map to be a secret, then nevermind.
Once we release V6 there will be a live map here on the site, like the one we are currently displaying for the current version. This however cannot happen as you suggest because we haven't generated the majority of the world yet, and don't plan to do so. We want people to explore the world and not just run for the nearest "cool" looking thing on the map.

They are a part of Minecraft, and were only ever removed from the mining world (and other worlds) when we had issues with their spawn rates; as these have now been fixed the mobs have been re-enabled. Please refer to this post by Fatnoob made in a similar topic to this one: http://www.noobscraft.com/suggestions-ideas/mobs-in-the-mining-world!/#msg60786Stopping the mobs from spawning around you is very simple: light up things .

On report panel, it only lets me report members, and doesn't let me report guests. Can you change it so we can report guests too?

If you read some of the staff replies here: http://www.noobscraft.com/suggestions-ideas/a-'mature-gamer'-zone/ you'll see that this is unlikely to be added. It goes completely against our "family friendly ethos". We will however; during the changeover to V6; be reviewing a number of our censor filters and rules to see if they should still apply in our new situation; but for now this is unlikely to occur.
