It's not really a matter of what is not shown, but of what is shown.
I.E.:
I could brag about my zero deaths, claiming to have killed over 9000 monster while in truth I was fishing for the whole time.
On the other hand, a guy could have died 30 times in PVP while still having won 100 encounters.
He would still have a good 3to1 win ratio but no one can know.
A better stat to track would be the player kill count, but that is stricty PVP and not generic "survival".
Even if MC could keep track of generic entities killed (it can't afaik, at least not without plugins that I don't know of) it wouldn't make sense because a player could just farm monster safely and, again, no know would know.
I think it's possible to make it so when you farm monsters (from spawners) it won't let you get the kill. Mcmmo has somehow done that as you cannot get your swords up if the monster is from the spawner, so I think it's possible somehow.

Heres some tips I've done to reduce my lag. ( I don't get alot but yeah  ) 1.Set Graphics to "fast" 2.Set Particles to decreased 3.Turn smooth lighting off 4.turn clouds off (Go to esc, video settings to do that) and maybe you could install optifine to reduce lag, and close unwanted stuff on your computer. Hope this helps

Something like this was already proposed I think and the same thing as standard sky block applies: it would need to be on another world (like the event world) with no stardard terrain generation because players could simply get a water source, float down and cheat
Not if they use worldedit to delete some of the floor (Aka fall into void if you fall) and block off the parts they don't want you to have access to.

This has been suggested before ( http://www.noobscraft.com/suggestions-ideas/online-chat/) An online chat will require 24/7 moderation(as Adrian stated) , also it may require a lot of memory to use. You can use Teamspeak to chat on if you wish. Apart from that, a chat would be nice, maybe something in the PM section which allows you to message a friend and receive the message instantly and not having to refresh 24/7 and some sort of global chat perhaps. Anyways, Unstable Bukkit should be out this weekend, and maybe the week after Bukkit releases the stable one, then maybe server will be back up

My Minecraft launcher is a tiny bit slow, but it still works. I suggest you go on Minecraft.net and play minecraft on that, hopefully that works, then you can use that while waiting for them to fix it:)

Terraforming is a good idea, but there are many other factors you would have to deal with. Temperature fluctuations, soil fertility, gravitational fields, etc. Then there is the terrain you would have to deal with. I think humanity's best bet would be to research those and build new tech.
They will meet aliens and they will provide the technology. (I'm a alien, I'm on mars atm :B ) wou I hope they will meet aliens anyway, It would be very interesting to see what they look like, what technology do they have.

Ive already received my codes, But my problem is that I may not be around during this month and the next.

Also if Mojang drops another update before or after bukkit updates this could push back v6 (fingers crossed that they dont)
