Thanks  , like I said I'm still getting used to it and I'm learning how to make them look better, I'll be updating the post with more pictures at some point tomorrow/later.

Hey, lately I've been using a modeling program called Cinema4D, I'm soon hoping to start animating, but first I need to feel comfortable with the software so I've been doing just that. I've rendered out a couple minecraft scenes to practice with the rendering settings, I thought I'd add them here to show people  Here's the results: Random Scene:  Diving From a Cliff, I accidentally clicked a glow feature on the water before rendering and my computer crashed right after it complete and I'm not going to bother setting it all up again because it's just a sample, nonetheless it looks alright:  Steve in action:  AirAce jumping towards creepers:  Krazzylegs leaning towards Diamond Ore:  Simple Parkour, Dead Space guy doing a backflip whilst Steve is vaulting(Iron bars are weird):  Steve helping Dead Space guy:  Creeper Attacking Steve:  The Book Of NoobsCraft:  Steve Defending an Emerald:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9n6VZbdYyc8#ws

If I remember correctly, Lawrence mentioned on a post that banned players don't get the quality of choosing what happens to their items, this might include towns, I'm not 100% sure.

I totally agree with you taking action before your town gets much worse, but that will be a lot of unhappy players if they end up coming back, it will cause a commotion and you'd be in the wrong for taking the house/plot they bought from you :S. Oh and I'd be willing to help if you get the all clear from the Admins, but I'd need to speak with Buckie first 'cause I'm one of his TAs, I wouldn't be a permanent member in your town for that reason, but I'd definitely be able to pitch in and help clear a few plots here and there.
Their is a rule in my town that if you are gone for 2weeks you lose your plot, people been gone for months in my town and are highly unlikely not coming back 
And about the perm member, you don't need to join the town to help out, I just do /town unclaim on the area and then you can break everything on that plot, it will cost a lot but will be worth it.

What if---for places that are beyond restoration---what if we build something really beautiful over it, instead of restoring the place? It will paint a contrasting picture of ruin vs artistry, in hopes that people will have more respect for the environment. (just an idea)
This is what Twisted was speaking about, you're not able to destroy structures such as ruins because it may still be someone's property, asking the staff to check every ruin would be a " long tedious process" like Twisted said.

Well I do want pistons to be activated, and just a little hint, can you tell me how to get pictures from minecraft
so I can post some pics of how it looks?
Hit the F2 key (screencap). Hitting the F1 key would un-display the item bar/chat/GUI so it might go better if you hit F1 then F2. The pictures can be found in the minecraft folder (in Windows, type in %appdata% in the Start Menu, then find the .minecraft folder, then the screenshots folder).
Or he could press the print screen button on his keyboard and then ctrl + v it in to something like paint that will allow him to crop it to whatever size he wants it to be .

This is a great idea, James, but only a small percentage of the players on NoobsCraft are active on the forums, more than half the players don't read the forums so every project we/you were to fix up would be demolished again over time, we'd be wasting time, resources and money. It's a brilliant idea, but I personally don't think it would work for that reason.

Thought i would introduce myself. Names Mary son named the account so I am stuck with the name Darkside7777, his usual game name on xbox. I bought minecraft as a gift for him,,after hearing him say he wanted to try it. Bought the wrong form as usual lol. I have told several of you already but I am a soon to be 60 year old grandmother lol. I know gross huh lol. I retired from the medical field 10 years ago,,Phleb/EMT with over 20 years exp. as long term care for the local Hospital and Hospice. I lost my husband last year 2 months shy of our 40th annv. So minecraft is my depression fighting therapy lol. Just wanted to let you all know so if i sound like an old granny in chat its cause I am lol
Love minecraft and this server seems awesome,,and ty twisted for letting granny move in to dragonfire,,its a lovely town and I can see all the work and time you have put into it,,,its awesome. Sorry for being long winded,,your server now has an official granny lol

its not really a grinder. they spawn inside the thing and they drop 40 blocks down to their doom. u dont get any exp so i wouldnt call it a grinder... but anyways look up how to make one on youtube.
That's the exact same as a so called 'grinder', but without the water and lava taking health from them, involving the lava and water reduces the time you need to put in to making a large drop. The mobs die either way and yeah, you do get xp from them unless they've been nerfed for some odd reason. They're allowed non-the-less, but they're pointless if you're planning to go afk for a short time to let them spawn.

I'm guessing you're meaning a grinder? If so then yeah, they're allowed, but they're now pointless because mobs despawn after a certain amount of time.

Im confused on what modloader can be used for. I know its used for loading mods unto minecraft but like what mods dont require modloader. Also what are some top rated mods used to decrease lag on minecraft.
Optifine is a well known mod that reduces the lag in many circumstances. If a mod requires modloader, wherever you find the download for it, it should tell you.

I have made 3 big farms just outside cliffside and a couple weeks ago losty claimed them for the town which i have no problem with but i can not use them still he said he would fix it but i have not seen him online in along time can anyone else help me
Your best bet would be to PM an Admin because Losty was banned recently for accidentally advertising.

I finally discovered this song again, I heard it years ago and the "Zombie eh eh eh" vocals was stuck in my head for so long, like I said I finally found it again! Hey, that design looks pretty sweet . Where did you get the idea to put a helm with wings?
Well my uncle has worked on big ships all his life from Naval to public cruiseliners so the helm represents that, then the wings shows how he's travelled the world, and "broadened his horizons", like a bird in flight, but they're angel wings because he's like the only family member who's been there my whole entire life no matter what!
That's the basic concept behind it anyway!
I like tattoos much more when they have a nice story or meaning behind them Again! Awesome tattoo.

Wish granted, but then everybody becomes dumb in the up and coming generations and then the human race begins to fail with technology and we begin to go back in time because we're all to dumb to know how to work things. I wish I could remember everything that I've learned when I need to e.g. In exams and test. (I've wished for this before, but it's all I want ;''( )
