I just think there is a time and place for everything and Noobscraft isn't the place for some of the topics people are wanting to get away with.
You say it as if it's something bad. Not all of us on this post want to get off with blue murder when we swear or criticize someone needlessly, we just want freedom of speech to a certain extent. Not all of us want to talk about potatoes being hoed or the next big build we're in the middle of working on, things like that get boring for some of us. I miss the v3 - v4 days  .

You collect tokens that you can carry-on over to v6. The tokens allow you to but tools and equipment to get a boost.

I wouldn't want a channel where words aren't filtered, I just want a channel where you can talk about anything, non-related server/minecraft stuff, but obviously with some rules and regulations to follow.

There was a lot of regular people in previous versions that I never really spoke with. It was just the vibe of NoobsCraft and the community back then that really filled a part of my life, sounds cheesy, but I spent most of my days with NoobsCraft constantly on my mind. The ending of v3 mixed with the beginning of v4 that was the gold era in NoobsCraft for me.

Why not just drop to local chat and ask whomis near you ?
Those that want to respond can then do so.....
What about when you're farming animals, chopping trees in a forest or even mining, you're always moving further away in a sense so you'd need to check every two minutes, you would need to check if the other person hasn't went out of range either. But then thinking about this, you'd be doing the exact same thing with the commands. It would still require you to type in chat to see if anyone is there :c

Again, it takes you 3 seconds to get back on the server if you been booted :p It isn't a big deal, and I am pretty sure it wont change just cause a few people complain about it. I agree with you Batuus.
Also, if Fatnoob was to make it to 10 minutes, it would take very very long changing the codings. The time changing the codings to make it into 10 minutes, could be used to make a whole building/ make v6 step better.
So if it's a step better, V6 will come faster. :V
Ehhh... no, it takes the Admin team about 2seconds to change the AFK kick timer... it is just a simple number switch in the server config.
They wont switch it, simple as that, the 5min kick timer is there for a reason, and wont be raised in till V6 is here.
Yes. but every admin is busy, and going into the config could take over two seconds.
Login to there host service , takes around few mins , going into there files, finding the codes will take around few minutes (They may have lots of files) and changing the coding may take few minutes too. I'm trying to say that it is a waste of time adding 5 minutes extra. the time they waste, they could of used for improving v6/making it faster to come.
Ten minutes isn't very much when you compare it to 24 whole hours, including around 8-10 hours sleep. And plus, that's why /ctrl & F was invented  . Fatnoob is probably already logged in to the hosting site. If I were him, I would have already ticked the box to stay logged in considering the amount of times he has to enter the files. I'm also sure he doesn't work on NoobsCraft every single second of every single minute of the day so much that he can't change anything so little. Lets be realistic, if anyone had the power to change the timer, they could do it whenever they had ten minutes free.

I totally agree with this post, I like talking of recent events to, not just Minecraft. I mentioned something about the North Korea threats and someone who shall not be name told me to take it in to private msg or not to talk about it, can't quite remember. Fair enough, it might not be their type of conversation, but why should I not get to talk about it with Noobstown people without having to do it outside of the server. I see chats that I'm not very interested in, does that mean I need to tell them to talk in their own channel? I doubt anything will be changed though.

I say Modern as I didn't really play the types of Pokemon or Legend of Zelda. One of the first games I remember playing is a weird turtle thing on my gameboy . After that, all I remember is Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Driver 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City... A 2D Action Man game which was also one of my first games. I remember watching my big brother play a Ghost Recon game, but it looked to complicated so whenever I went on it when he was gone, he'd find himself either dead or lost the next time he logged in :c.

I don't know what this will hurt by adding it back. I know it was never enabled but it would be nice to know who is near you. For those of you who don't know what it is.. It's a command that tells you the distance the closest players are from you. I think it should be added so we can tell who can see our local chat. What do you think?
This would be a great addition for v6. Everytime I speak in local chat I feel as if no-one hears me xD.
