I can't really give any tips because I'd never have the confidence to do a commentary, but I'd like to say that you're the type of minecraft commentator that I'd be able to watch when I have enough free time, you speak properly and with confidence.. You make it exciting to watch  , you don't have a low voice and you speak at a nice steady pace that viewers would like. I suggest trying to get in a live stream or such with another youtuber that's doing similar videos, that'd give you a nice boost to get starter if you were planning to make more videos more often on your youtube channel

First out I'd like to say that it's not the guests that annoy me, its when they get agitated and start raging for no reason what so ever. They need to learn to be patient and not spam in global chat as most of the time it is their own fault for failing at the application and not following it correctly. There should be something at the guest spawn explaining what they should do if they fill in the application correctly such as: Stay calm and wait 30 minutes. Also if they write their IGN incorrectly then (as most of them already do...) they should make a post about it.
As I said above, impatient people.

@Jay: I see where you're coming from but I'm sure most people now know how to use forums and get involved with them, this forum is not an exception. This forum is user friendly and easy to navigate your way around it so new players and put off with any complicated actions. Basically what I'm saying is it's not hard to put forward your issues on the forums.
Yes, the forums is user friendly, but I didn't understand anything back then, therefor I refused to use the forums until a later date, I can't be the only one who sees things that way sometimes. Some guests can be quite unpatient impatient, but since we are the Veterans of the server sometimes they see us as a higher rank and fire questions and requests in our direction, we should still help them, even if it is annoying it only takes two sentences or so to send them on their way to being a member. Me, you and Tyber have all applied for staff If I'm right, both of you guys have said that guests annoy you. You'll have to get used to helping them because I feel you two have a good chance at becoming staff in the future so saying that guests are annoying doesn't make you look so good :S

There are many other ways of getting there troubles across rather than raging in global chat, such as making a ticket in-game or creating a post about it here, on the forums. If they really don't understand how to register and all that stuff, then that's a problem with the guest spawning area that should be improved with clearer instructions, but as far as I know I'm sure they've made it pretty clear on how to become a Member of the server. 
I know, but as you know, there's a lot of people who have chosen this server to be the first server that they've ever played on... Maybe some people are really new with the forum side of things. When Geo introduced this server to me I didn't know anything about forums or servers. I only understood things like Youtube or social networking sites like Bebo (embarrassing now, but back then it was amazing xD) or Facebook. When I joined the server I didn't ever look at the forums, nor did I introduce myself in any way, I just log-in then played, It was later on when I noticed Geo always kept updated with the forums so I started and I've never stopped since. Sorry for the life story xD, but It's true maybe people haven't played on game servers very much? I dunno.

When new guests come online and start complaining that they aren't members, there should be some sort of way that makes guests only speak in local so everyone can't hear them complain xD If they want help there should be Moderators online to help them at all times when they need assistance.
I agree with Daniel, they can get annoying, BUT they wouldn't be able to ask for help if they really did need it, I seem to be one of the only few to help guests :S I'm always helping them if they ask how to register or once there was a problem with the warp signs and some of the guests seemed like the were getting stressed because when they asked for help no-one gave them it, that was when staff were on the server.... They were busy doing tickets or just AFK. I seem to notice a lot of staff being AFK, yeah, it's great for them to be online, but why come on then go AFK? It's awkward trying to explain to people who really need help that whoever is online that is able to help them with more things than normal members like myself can't, is AFK.
There's probably a few other things that I can write, but I can't think of them at this moment in time.

Well I just finally got up a little while ago and I tried to login to minecraft, but I'm getting the error message saying that I can't connect to minecraft.net. I know a lot of people got the same problem yesterday so I'm just curious to know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing again, this morning.

I think one of the other members mentioned in another post like this that you need to force update? I'm not too sure why people get these error messages :S
