Your texture pack seems to have a fairly high definition, make sure you have gone to the video settingsand re-appropriated it to accommodate fps. It reset after the upgrade to 1.6 . Also, speaking of your texture pack, it seems to have a higher definition than that of the default. It could deter your frame rate.
If you have always had it like that, those are just a few things to check. Otherwise, my client seems to be boding quite well. You might need to relog some till the issue is resolved.

It happens. I'm pretty sure many have already adjusted to the wait, waiting till the night won't take much effort.

Goal: roads connecting all towns and points of intreset- to make traveling quicker and safer
3 this wouldent just be my project but anybody who would help me
I always wanted to do this despite the portals. It would make traveling from town to town more realistic and easier without losing my skin every time I want to go somewhere.

My goals are as follows: 2: Restart my company: Launchpad Dynamics
INEEDANAME1564
I'd always hope this concept would stay alive. It is an awesome idea, and I'd be happy to assist as I did in the past.

Since Noob's Town has yet to recuperate in completion, to help people rediscover their aspirations for the opening of V3, I have one question for the population; including the likes of OP's.
What is your goal(s) for the new town? That may include: -plans for towns -meeting new people -forming a guild/clan -building monuments -being wealthy -being employed for someone -owning a trade such as: woodwork, mining, farming, etc.. -wandering/traveling -making innovations to pre-existing concepts
Sometimes you may have great ideas for the town, but the job is either out of your league or you have other projects on priority in which case you might want to make suggestions for those who have no ideas or are free to pick them up.
What are your suggestions?
It would be absolutely marvelous for you to form your post as so;
Goals:
Suggestions:
. . . for the sake of organization.

Wow that's pretty good, however the physics of the image slightly fail, the lava and water meet? Otherwise I am really impressed
About 3 millimeters on the right side should be cut off. I mean after trying this out for a while, I realized some of the mistakes and then blew it off. There's a first time for everything, next time I'll try with a drawing pad and not a mouse. I'm not completely satisfied with it, but I said hey, its my first time and I spent a good amount of my life time on it, so I'll post it. I don't know how you guys do it.

You seem sincere. They probably will would accept your apologies. Even so, you should manage your tongue next time.

MS paint. Note that I never ever use computers to construct things. Pastels+paint+paper= 98% of my pieces. It's a shame because I'm known for actually building stuff like this.

--should just make an angry vent thread so that the complains and rants dont disperse into topics that are informative in aspects that relate to the town. My main point is to say, stop crowding with the whining. Everybody wants to be heard.

Quick advice to the original poster however, now that you have voiced and ranted, I think it might be best to some how (in no offense to you) compose your "request". The disorganization in your response to the recent actions made upon the server will take away from the communication between you and your audience. To be heard for any argument, one must first establish connection with their audience, then appeal to logic. You seem to be quite matured at the most, you should know better. Some one who rants does not automatically appear to be one that is logical.
I however heard and agree with several of your statements. Compensation to town owners does seem like a rational resolve. I say this not because I have conflict of interest, for I would still agree to it even if I were at the bottom. It is best for the development for an urban sprawl. It is best to assist those who were adjusted to their settlement. It also compresses the time between the beginning and the living.

It seems as though those who have gone vocal about their opinions regarding a PvP server have their concerns. In a population that is quite divided on pvp, the safest bet is to go for PvP arenas within the server. Going off the notion, "it's better to be safe than sorry", it is beneficial to have the majority of the world safe from the likes of the inventory hungry PvP'ers by confining them to the walls of an arena. Then compacting the whole population into squares on the map. Generic safe zones across the map might deter the expansion and vision of the players. We have survived mostly on this. Making a PvP based world will further complex the definition of greifing as well as ethics.

Patience. You would rather stay the wait for the stability of the server than to rush it and have incomplete work.

Although confusing to my inexperienced hands, towny was a very efficient mod. I don't hate playing, I just find that there are many obstacles and setbacks to overcome before I may play comfortably again. I do agree with your call for structure. There are four essentials detrimental to the success of projects such as noobstown. Action, relationships, vision, and structure. What we need to come to an understanding is with minecraft in Beta and having all of these updates/modifications, structure will be difficult to achieve with the system and boundaries in constant change. When the structures change so frequently, more action is needed to maintain the current status and accommodate for the changes. In turn for every change, the amount of work for the action that changes doubles. It isn't easy.
The only solution to the problem is prediction and planning.

Exibit 4 doesn't look right. It looks as though he is pasted and some of the "Brightened" exhibitions looked skewed in hue compared to it's counter parts. I'm not saying it is totally fake, I'm just saying it might be a bit of a bombast or exaggeration. It could have been executed better.

From what I receive from this, the server has rejuvenated in some sorts and I can not connect to it? Or have I misunderstood something?
