In my opinion, it's fine as long as you don't.. "engage" in anything physical. I have quite a few male friends, which I went over ones house to do some go-karting. My father wasn't too happy about it at first (3:1 guy to girl ratio) but I was fine, only playing some video games and having lunch besides the obvious go-karting thing we had. When I came home fine, my father became more accepting of the fact I had hung out with my guy-friends. So my point being, your mom will (most likely) accept the fact you want to hang out with your lady-frand over time.

Honestly, I believe another force outside the human world exsists though I'm not going to be like the "I can see the dead" people. xD More of a believer like you. I've watched enough ghost shows.
