Good news!! After building all night, the dark oak is safe and finished! Work your way past the windmill where there is a frame of a building, you'll find a brick staircase. Down that staircase is a dark oak farm. Just replant! Very efficient. Very public!
Next up will be the lower levels, which I think will likely be acacia, and oak! Later you'll find jungle and spruce in the plots outpost, we'll keep you posted!

I think this is one of those things people might not realize they can vote on! Bumping so that people know they can influence what is worked on!!

I am still buying vines in a few places around LunarFalls, namely by the vine farm in the troll hole above the cactus farm (next to the vines). I also buy ferns in the ravine, and a few other things for a lucrative amount! Mostly I'm looking for vines and ferns though. I've been farming them myself, and don't have any qualms about doing that, but take my money!

I hope you get a few more folks to join your town! I love seeing that there are more active mayors, and hoping that it will make for more active towns!

I THINK that the dark oak should be usable and farmable now, you just have to be a little careful! I've tested it and I can't get through 2 rows, so it's a solid amount of dark oak! I'm looking forward to putting in the other trees too! Lemme know how it works for you once it's done, would love to know!

I didn't make a formal announcement, but our farms at LunarFalls are finished finished, and open to the public for use! Standard town farm rules apply, just replant, share, we aren't responsible for deaths.
In progress is the tree farm! We've got the dark oak in, and mining out and planting for oak and birch (and/or acacia) are happening. We're doing one layer at a time, so patience, and we'll have something new and gorgeous for you shortly!
We're still seeking members who enjoy building, and we have plots ready to be claimed at /t o plots. If you join and go to our plots area, you'll see things listed for a crazy amount- those are simply to say, this is available! Leave either myself or cruisinkiy a message with /mail send and we'll get something ready for you! We'd love to have you!
We are also slowly building a great surprise area off of our fishing area at /t o lunarfalls saddle, in the ravines! It's also still in progress, but there's things to be found, slowly! We also encourage use of /shop to find your favorite things to buy!
You are always welcome to look around LunarFalls, and poke around. Lots of amenities are open to the public! I believe we have public ovens in different areas if you'd like to use those. We'll be slowly adding in more free chests, so be sure to look for those too! We hope you enjoy your visit and hopefully stay, in LunarFalls!

Raiden started playing in V4, though it was the tail end of that. We'd known each other for years, and kept in touch. When we started dating, he fell off Minecraft for a bit. But we got to talking about Minecraft, and how I wanted to find a server to play on. He mentioned NT, so we plugged in one day. It was towards the end of a Thanksgiving quest, and my first death was on sir_andrew's guardian grinder stairs. I was kinda mad about that, since I'd done SO well til then.
There were a lot of people who helped me early on, and I was really thankful for that. Raiden outfitted me with iron, so I didn't struggle too badly. Joined Ethereal and worked my way up the ranks to co-mayor. Somewhere in there I think cruisinkiy asked if anyone had some orange tulips, and it turned out I did, since Raiden and I had just ravaged a flower forest. Recruited cruis to Ethereal after seeing his build, and he became a big part of Ethereal too. Did a lot of stuff there, and left to start LunarFalls.
Diamondpuppy, great topic! Always interesting to read other origin stories!

I was at a knitting meetup. No regrets!
When I've done town events or just even events in general, and it was a no show, could always try to reschedule!! Worth a shot!

Vintage, or modern?

Did you ever find someone to do this? I’ll try to remember to take a look when I’m on again and do it, unless someone (suddenrose does great banner work!) else has already done it.

Another option would be to set up an area in your wild with a chunk that allows for public brewing, and then just direct people to /visit hyperspacechewy for public brewing! That could be a fun thing to do! Or even do that in town once you have it set up.

The event is in the title! "Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes" event sponsored by LunarFalls is coming soon! Hosted by mayor KilljoyDivine (that's me!) and hopefully my co-mayor, cruisinkiy! Events will span other towns, and the prizes are sure to be just as stupid awesome! I'm looking at end of July, beginning of August, so get your stupid gear on, and ready for a lot of super fantastic (but I'm sure stupid!) prizes!

Should be able to make them public now- I'll see if I can dig out the code again. I keep meaning to go through all the commands and make a post of the current commands, but I keep getting busy IRL and it doesn't happen. Glad to see Ninjawoodchuck is progressing!! Lemme know if there's anything I can do!
