zeel, I will have you know, we used this shop for a long time, and before we had the dynamic economy, everyone thought it was great. (Most people anyways) I do not think the dynamic economy will be coming back any time soon, although you may thought it was better, do you remember how many issues it had. Every day there was an issue, to many for the server to be free from exploiting.

If this is to be an issue, there have been many lately and we will try to get it fixed as soon as possible. If not, the growth time of these arts could have been slowed like the decay of leave.

This happened to me in V3 but the good news is that towny didn't restore the land after the land was unclaimed. But towny is bugged and there is nothing we can do about that but hope that Foob and the team can fix it. =/
all the land did get reset 
back to how it was when I first claimed it...
it was Oakhaven that got spared mostly after it was unclaimed.
I am posting a little late, but sorry to hear about the sad news Linda, such a great town. I used to go there all the time to model NetherFrost after a successful town. (I hope you don't mind) Also from why I have heard, it was not a not enough money issue, the town had more than enough money. So either there is a thief about, or towny has taken a turn for he worst. I know Fatnoob is investigating. Just thought I might share this to who ever didn't know. (Linda was the one who told me)

and indeed the money wasnt the problem, or a TA must have taken it...
I was with Fatnoob yesterday and asked him if he knew anything about what happened...

Oh, linda, you saw the huge tree house? I had not intended it to be a "copy" off of yours. As a matter of fact, I wasn't the one who built it. That was made by a resident in their land that I granted them. Sorry if it bugged you, it has been there a long time, out of the way, I did not mean the tree to come out as if I were taking ideas from your city. (He had built it so suddenly so I had no time to even think about what other towns would think) What I really meant when I said modeling your town, I just went there sometimes to see if there had been anything new added, like most mayors do, I didn't mean to sounds like I made a copy of your town, which I didn't, most ideas in NetherFrost are mine. Besides that, I am glad to see we have Fatnoob on the job.

R2U2D2Y, by snapshot, do you mean screen shot? If so it is different depending on what type of computer you use. I know if you are using a mac, you need to hold down shift, command, and the number 3 at the same time. Or you can go to your system preferences and click the keyboard. Then check the first box that says "use F1, F2 etc. for their standard functions." If that box is checked, I believe F2 is the screenshot button. For a windows, isn't it F2 or F3? Try one of those. I hope this it what you meant by snapshot.

Does this new spawn behavior include wild animals (especially sheeps)?
The server restart seemed to have despawned the flock on your towns sheepfarm and the area we actually caught them in the first place doesn`t seem to spawn sheep anymore (the wild sheep we left behind are gone as well). We spread out but no one could find any wild animals around the town anymore, so your main source for wool is pretty much gone.
I do not believe that includes friendly mobs, I happen to have a testificate locked up in a jail cell and has been there for several weeks. Then again, there have been many reports about player's animals disappearing, so I am not 100% sure.

Dragon, I do not think as of right now there will be more items added to the shop unless there is another money reset. I think you will just have to wait for the dynamic economy to come back.

By "towns can't rollback" does it mean that when a town goes bankrupt the whole thing can't rollback but /town unclaim on individual plots will cause a rollback, or absolutely no rollback period?
What fatnoob means when he says towns can't rollback, I believe that means that towns will not delete themselves when they go bankrupt. So as you said, /town unclaim will not rollback the plot to its natural state. This is only a hunch.

I had a question for the mods.
Was the hostile spawn rate reduced for this week? Myrf explained that it was because we were running around hunting that hardly any mobs spawned, but that's not right either. Even when you're running around mobs would spawn left and right before this week, so something had to have been done.
And if something was done to the hostile mob spawn rate, will it be changed back to normal once the week is over?
I believe mobs are back. By the way, I do think they were disabled because of the easter hunt. Enjoy.

This maintenance took place last wednseday. The server is down for now for reason I do not know. I am sure there is confussion with the surprise minecraft update, so please just be patient.

Next time you have the desire to become a part of the staff, make an moderator application on the moderator application thread in the general section of the forum. From there, like masterrbc said, the head moderator will look at you application and make the final decision.

I've begun construction of a Hunger Games Arena. ALL towns with at least a population of, (this isn't 'for-sure' yet), 35-40 will be required to send a tribute to compete. You may have volunteers, OR you will have to pick two tributes. There will be a costly fee, but if a tribute of your town wins, then your town gets an added bonus.
Note, this is not a guaranteed offer at the moment.
Sounds like a lot of fun, I know the town of NetherFrost cannot wait and is determined to win! By the way, I can help build the arena.

This sounds interesting. Can you build your house anywhere in the city (making sure it is placed convinient for the other residents of course) or do you get/buy a specific plot?
If I am correct, I am pretty sure you can build it anywhere you want as long as it is close to the other houses and I think it may have to be able to be connected to the road. I would double check with Esp.
