Is it possible for you to wait until the nether is open? As several people only have a few of these resources.

Do you get an error trying to upgrade at all? Removing minecraft.exe is no help, as its just a launcher for the game.

Your welcome, but if you do accidently update when Noobstown is in 1.2.5 still, repeat the steps.

Make sure your minecraft client is closed, put "minecraft.jar" in .minecraft/bin' folder.

Now open minecraft and DO NOT update it to 1.3 if you want to play on the server.

« on: 31 Jul 2012, 11:24:18 »
I dont think there was a important update in bukkit API's, so if I were you, I'd play on 1.3 for a few hours.. downgrade to 1.2.5 (google it) and play on Noobstown, so you can get a head start to 1.3 then others like fish_james said. Also, I will be away for a few days aswell configuring a plugin I made that makes me laugh.. diamond mining sets you on fire, also.. Im now playing Star Trek - Online :)

« on: 30 Jul 2012, 23:30:06 »
VIP commands are blocked in the arena, teleporting to spawn and usinf /back doesnt work since you get in a teleportation loop. You eventually die after the amount of mobs, also.. abusing? Speed potiojs are there for a reason.. TO RUN!

Guides / Skills - How They Work

I'm sure most of you are familiar with role-play servers like Noobstown unless your a newbie to it. Although there are commentary and a Wikipedia on this, I thought I'll put it into my own words and explain it.

McMMO is a roleplay bukkit plugin, its based around RPG servers to improve the "experience". You are able to live noobstown like a real life, by practice and gathering resources. When you mine, dig or pratice a skill. Your skill XP (not experience) level will go up so you can use abilites and effects more since your chance of the effect (e.g arcane forgin) will increase.

REPAIR - Tools or armour low on durability? Well, you are able to repair your tools or armour like a blacksmith, but you do require your own resources unless someone else is being kind enough to do it for you. When you are repairing, you'll require the type of tool you used, for instance. A wooden pickaxe will require 3 wood to repair whilst a iron shovel requires 1 iron ingot to repair. To repair a piece of armour or tool, you must craft an iron block. Place it down somewhere, doesn't matter where. If you do not have enough resources for a iron block. Go to Spawn, and head towards the Events world, there you'll find the floor lazied out with allot of iron blocks placed in the floor. After you have your iron block, right click the iron block with the item you want to be repaired. This will not work on flint and steal. For it to repair, you must have the required resources in your inventory. Once it is successful, the durability bar will increase, keep on doing this till it reaches no durability bar, that means its fully repaired.

EXCAVATION - Digging alot if you are an assistant/mayor in town is rather good, as you make plots, remove grass to flatten for instance. Excavation is digging, diggly dig diggy do! Theres one thing  most people like in excavation, tresure. You'll randomy recive items when you go up in levels.

More coming soon - I wish there was a save as draft button :(

This is possible if an admin enabled the chest shop security to rely on LWC. Which should be enabled since I would like this feature enabled to as I wish for my co-mayor to access my shop chests to restock aswell.

Mobs spawn due to the light level, I dont think they are meant to spawn in the same chunk as you unless its a mob spawner.
