Oh, this sounds fun, I am getting bored of grinding Mcmmo, so I guess ill start doing some building :D

277
is the picture on top a picture of the map?

Yes, that is a picture of the map BEFORE any buildings were added in, if you want a more updated version of the map you can go look at this topic: http://www.noobscraft.com/server-announcements/version-6-0-preview-1/

Good idea miner, i would love this. My idea would be, more PvP arenas!!

Maybe I missed something, it wouldn't be all that surprising, but... Horses? When were they released? I thought they were going to be in a future release. If they have been let out of the stall, why aren't they here on the server? If they haven't been released, how are they in V6? Or is this such an awesome server that Mojang is letting Fatnoob and company play with them early?

Snapshots dude, or in development versions of Minecraft that people can test out, and help the Mojang team find bugs, so they can "all" get fixed before the official release, if you want to check out Snapshots, they come out every Thursday, at least most of the time, over on http://www.mojang.com :)

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Mature Content Channel.
« on: 1 May 2013, 03:18:11 »
If you read some of the staff replies here: http://www.noobscraft.com/suggestions-ideas/a-'mature-gamer'-zone/ you'll see that this is unlikely to be added. It goes completely against our "family friendly ethos". We will however; during the changeover to V6; be reviewing a number of our censor filters and rules to see if they should still apply in our new situation; but for now this is unlikely to occur.

Yeah, that is the topic I was talking about when I said "but it has been brought up before, and the answer that time were No" just couldn't find it, thanks Lawrence for the information :)

The simplest thing I would suggest to actually be able to do this, would be making a new chat channel, that would probably be the easiest way.

« on: 30 Apr 2013, 22:40:45 »
Haven't been able to play much myself, busy with real life stuff, it really isn't that interesting to be on the server atm, just cause most people are token grinding, and many people aren't bothered to be on, cause they know that if they build anything it gets whipped before V6.

The only thing you really have to pay attention to would be the forum, just cause you get most updates here, so good to keep up to date :)

I wouldn't mind this, but it has been brought up before, and the answer that time were No, not sure if the Admin team gone change their mind this time, but they might.

You also got to remember that the server is a family server, so it really isn't suppose to be any cursing etc, but yeah, I would love to see this be implemented, but it would mean that the mods would have to moderate another chat channel.

Again, it takes you 3 seconds to get back on the server if you been booted :p It isn't a big deal, and I am pretty sure it wont change just cause a few people complain about it.
I agree with you Batuus.
Also, if Fatnoob was to make it to 10 minutes, it would take very very long changing the codings. The time changing the codings to make it into 10 minutes, could be used to make a whole building/ make v6 step better.
So if it's a step better, V6 will come faster. :V

Ehhh... no, it takes the Admin team about 2seconds to change the AFK kick timer... it is just a simple number switch in the server config.

They wont switch it, simple as that, the 5min kick timer is there for a reason, and wont be raised in till V6 is here.

- (after 3 minutes of being invited to town) "Aha! He's AFK! Quick, get his 5-enchant diamond gear!"

If a player kills another player, the person wont lose their items, cause it works like it is in the PVP arena.

- More moderation needed for multiple PvP events in multiple locations

I think Bird means private pvp matches, where 2 players agree to fight, it doesn't really need any moderation, cause it is all fair game as the two parts agreed on it.

Other / Re: Classic Video Games, Or Modern Video Games?
« on: 29 Apr 2013, 16:27:01 »
I will have to say Modern, just cause I find the new games more entertaining and pleasing to look at, I am not saying I don't enjoy playing Classic games, cause I still play like Pokemon, and Legend Of Zelda from time to time, but I still can't say I enjoy does classic games more then Modern games, just cause I find the Modern games both longer, and better put together, they have a much better storyline, and much more stuff for you to do, and that is what I like in a game, I don't like games where once you have finished the main story line, you are pretty much done, no side missions, no more stuff to collect, no extra content that you can purchase, and so on, most Classic games are like that, once you are done, you are done, and it is nothing more to do.

Classic games will always be in my heart as the one thing that got me in to gaming at a young age, I spent countless hours playing Classic games, but I still enjoy the new modern games more.

If you are in the age 8 - 12, and you are reading this, go buy Pokemon, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Legend Of Zelda, Super Mario, Mega Man and I could probably note down more, but does games, they are just awesome.

Music / BlueLakeEDM, My Electronic Music Channel.
« on: 29 Apr 2013, 03:39:48 »
As my last topic got a bit outdated, I deleted it and decided to make a new topic, which is what I am doing now.

BlueLakeEDM is a Promoting channel for Electronic Dance Music or EDM for short, I try to upload tracks from the best producers out there, but I will also upload tracks from more unknown producers, to hopefully give them a little boost.

I am making this post, cause not many really know the channel even exist, cause I have mostly shared it on Music sites etc, I am sharing it here to hopefully get a wider audience, and maybe get some new people to get in to EDM? Cause it is a lot of people in this world, and many don't even know what that stands for, so yeah, if you are interested, and want to support me in the best way you can, check out the links under! ^_^

If you Subscribe, Like, Follow or all of them, I greatly appreciate it, I need as much help as I can get, just cause I am 1 of 10,000 promoting channels out there for EDM, just cause it is so easy to do, everyone does it, but most of them don't put any effort at all in to their videos, and does are often the once with the most subscribers, which is why I am trying to get more people to see the channel, to hopefully become one of the big channels that actually put some time in to their videos.

Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/BlueLakeEDM
Soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/BlueLakeEDM
Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/BlueLakeEDM
Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/BlueLakeEDM

Also, I want to put out a massive thank you to Jay, many people probably know him on the sever, and he has been a massive help getting the channel going, he made the logo, banner and video layout wallpapers, and they look just incredible, better then something I would ever manage to make.

As I saw on the stream, it looks really great. The Spawn area is just very lavish and fancy, but I like it. Thanks foob and Rossnub for all the hard work, I am one person who appreciates all your hard work and time put into the project.

It isn't Rossnub that is building with Foob :p It is Batuus, or it might be both, but I don't recall hearing anything about Rossnub building.

Just.. wow, I am amazed at how good it is looking, seeing all does fantastic buildings, and knowing that Noobscraft is going to the next stage, it is kinda giving a slight tear to my eye for some reason.

I been with the server for well over a year, and I don't regret it, and seeing how the progress with the new version is going, and seeing the community growing, it is really awesome.

Thank you for making Noobscraft, it really filled a empty space in my life, and I am highly grateful for it.

Suggestions & Ideas / V6 Minigame Ideas - Share Yours! :)
« on: 28 Apr 2013, 19:07:41 »
As it has been noted that the server will be having more Minigames in V6, I thought why not make a topic about it, this way people can put in ideas on an already existing Minigame, or something they have come up with them self, for each Minigame that gets suggested I will update the poll above, that way people can kinda vote for what they would like to see, and the admins could see if it would be possible :)

Don't suggest Minigames that will clearly not be added, cause that makes it less funny :p

Also if it is a video about your suggested Minigame, feel free to add it, that way people might understand it easier if they don't understand your explanation

To start us of, I would like to suggest this new popular thing called TNT Spleef, it is kinda like normal Spleef, but instead of using a shovel, you use either a Flint and Steel or a Bow with Flame I, and you will have to try and ignite the TNT under peoples feet to make them fall, I tried it, and it is both less laggy, and way more challenging, so a fun little Minigame for does that want a challenge, and might have a slow computer ;)

Now it is your turn, as I said, I will add your idea to the poll above once I see it.

« on: 26 Apr 2013, 14:37:02 »
As epic as always, great job! :D was it for someone, or was it just made for fun? :3
Well I've kinda been wanting to get back in to making speed arts for a while and I came across a contest that I ended up joining. Oh and sorry again for the long wait of your video layout, I actually have a Computing exam in a couple of hours T.T I'll see what I can do when I come back if you still need one D:

The layout for the videos was finished on Monday, Sky said he could help me out with it, so we worked on it for a few hours, it looks pretty nice :) I still need some wallpaper help tho, cause I am running out of proper backgrounds to use, but I can tell you more on skype later :3

The owner, or in this case Grim_Reaper65 has to do /res friend add (username), on both of you, as I am guessing this is in a town.

If it is in the wilderness, I have no clue.

« on: 26 Apr 2013, 00:59:43 »
Why would you want to rename 16 torches in the first place? If you place them and break them again, they have lost the name...

And also, it takes 5 levels EACH regular item you want to rename, as long as it has no enchant... I am pretty sure Neoncolors1243 didn't have 80 levels on him/her, so he clearly were lying to you in the first place.
