Now that the new ranks are in why not give the permission only to mayors? If someone got their plot cleared without a valid reason you know who to blame as the mayor of that set town is the only permission that had permission to do so, then that mayor would get their punishment.

Btw the stuff that happened in Forthwind and Oakhaven was /town delete/remove or whatever the command was making all the signs being dropped and everything being wilderness, /plot clear after what I have heard was not a part of what happened but /town remove/delete was.

I know but then why does after a set amount of time (I can confirm this) chests that was owned by someone get unowned, is that some thing with lockette or a bug cause I found a chest earlier that a good while ago I could not open but the owner of the chest has been gone so long that he/she is not a registered member anymore which makes the chest open as it has no owner, I just can't get what the problem is if the mayor of the town really want the items then he/she can just wait in till the person gets cleared from the registered members list and boom all the chests are open.

Now that I am currently fixing up Flintwood and clearing a lot of inactive peoples houses I figured out why not make this topic about it, as a town owner you have probably cleared a house on someones plot because they were inactive, did not pay tax or something related to that.

When you got to clear about 30 - 40 houses, which is what I am currently doing, you can get a bit tired after a while when you have to do it alone cause the TA's you have are all inactive.

If the admin team could add a quicker way to remove inactive/unowned plots that would be great, cause I am already tired and I got as I said 30 - 40 left :/

Back before around June I think we could just use /plot clear to just make the whole plot restart back to wildy, this removed everything that had been done to the plot before it was claimed by the town, the only bad side is that when it was chests/furnaces/dispensers they just blew up and all the items were on the floor, idk why the town owners can't keep the items of a inactive player anymore and the moderators have to clear it, I feel like it is not needed when if you are a town owner you should not abuse your towny powers anyway and if you do the guy that was affected will most likely report you

Now that the servers are down then why not throw in a little forum game, this game is to give you random information to your fellow noobs.

As an example I can start with "Did You Know, Pigeons never forget a face, if you chase one away it will remember your face and avoid coming near you at later dates."

It can off course be lies as well just to see peoples reactions but REMEMBER do not post anything else then "Did You Know, *Information Goes Here*"

The item sorting isn't really a feature we intended to put into place, it's actually part of a range of fixes in a custom build we use to avoid Minecraft lag. In this case the item grouping is there to reduce the amount of entity's scattered on the ground, the more items on the floor the more lag they are likely to cause in the area. Having the items grouped when dropped causes much less lag as all the items are floating in one spot. This explains why items may bob up and down when cutting wood and such it's trying to simply group them as the new entity is falling to avoid a huge mess on the floor. Once you have finished woodcutting all the entity's that were bobbing up and down should fall into your inventory in one big stack.

In the past before this was put into place some mischievous players would often buy 1000's upon 1000's of blocks and scatter them in one area to cause mass lag on the server, this obviously caused problems for everyone and was highly annoying to the rest of the people playing. Hopefully you understand why this is put into place and you'll probably see a lot of other servers using similar methods to avoid this type of lag, so there  isn't really an option to remove or keep the item stacking it's there for a specific reason and not as a feature.

Also!

Often you may see grouping off/on during stages of new Minecraft builds this is generally because our custom build isn't quite up to date with Bukkit.

I agree, we're always talking about little things that aren't needed that might strain the server a little. This is a perfect example of something that could be disabled. Even though it's probably very basic, every little helps xD.

So right now that the server updated to 1.4.4 there is 1 plugin that is not working like it should and that is the auto sorting, most off you probably know what I am talking about the plugin if you break 1 block and it is on the ground and break 1 more of the same kind they sort them self and so on.

Well to be honest I never really liked this plugin, I like it way better when stuff do not sort them self and you have to run around and grab it all, the same with xp when they sort it is not as much fun cause you can't hear all the ding sounds.

I set up a pool over if you want to keep it or not and I hope the Admin team consider it, thanks for reading :)

Seaside's "Megastore" is a great addition to the market like Duel said, many people gets dragged to the market district cause of it as it do have fairly nice prices, but as many already has said it do have a chance of messing up the economy, but was it really ever a proper economy on this server?

I changed my prices several times cause of people saying this and others saying that, I don't want to lose money on my shop and I still after as long as the market district has existed NEVER lost money on my shop, if you choice to have a shop you do take a large risk as if people mass sell stuff to you well you probably will lose money in one way or another.

I do agree having a 3 plot big shop can be a bit of a "show off" and make other shops lose business, but is that Seasides problem? They are just like other shop owners, they are all after the money and making people get the items they need like wood, seeds, diamonds, gold and so on.

I sold lots of stuff to the Seaside "Megastore" mostly sandstone and I have always made a profit on it and so has Debo, Craft and whoever the other owner is.

Having a shop is not the best way to make money if you don't expect losing money, if you want good money as both Duel and Albatros has said go farm wheat, go strip-mine or cut down trees, approx 10% of my money is money I made from my own shop, the rest is from logs, mining, digging and exp farming at my enderman farm to get enchanted tools to sell :)

It is only enabled in the Main World, otherwise it would cause HUGE lag, collecting all the logs and data.

Could you add a board or something at the entrance of the End to say that building on your own risk? I did not know and it sucks a lot :/

So earlier today I went to my enderman farm to find it griefed, I asked Tidal if she could roll it back but as the Grief Check plugin apparently don't work in the end she can't :/

Whoever did it clearly knew what he/she was going for as it was a straight endstone/cobblestone road to the farm.

The items that was lost is:
1x Iron Block (Replaced)
18x Bookshelfs (Replaced)
1x Enchant Table (Replaced)
1x Anvil (Did not replace cause of cost and scare of being griefed again)
Their was also damage done on the water over the farm (Fixed)

This can be a bit annoying that you get griefed and need to replace it all on your own cost and whoever griefed it gets away with it, their is not a problem with me replacing it cause well I am rich.. lol, but that the guy that did it gets away with MY items.

Is it a way to either return the items that got stolen or at least catch the person that did it, I don't want  it to happen again, making a farm as good as this one is hard when you need to worry about griefers all the time :)

ALSO! It is no warning when you enter the end about not building there cause the grief check tool is not working, might want to add that in cause I did not know, even after playing here for 9months...

Even taking out our custom spawning/despawning mechanisms naturally in Vanilla Minecraft zombie villagers despawn when you move away from them anyway.

Yeah but that was not the case, I stood there waiting while I was "AFK" if the server did not have that custom spawning/despawning mechanism you are talking about it should not despawn cause you are within the same chunk as it, the point was to just use it that one time cause when you cure a villager you get a better trade, apparently after what I have heard.

It makes sence really because if they disabled then because of unfair trading then it should despawn.

It takes about 10 minutes+ for the villager zombie to cure, on the server all mobs despawn after 5mins, therefor it is not possible to cure them, can you tell me how you managed to cure one to state
"as soon as it is cured it auto despawns" how can you know it auto despawns when it gets cured when you can't cure them on the server?

Also you stated "unfair trading" the trading for the villagers has been nerfed and you can now only trade with the same villager 5 - 10 times, the trading is fine.

So I was at a zombie dungeon I found in the mine world and was gone get a zombie villager to cure, I got one and threw a weakness potion then "feed" it a golden apple to cure it.

I wait for about 2mins coming back to my screen and guess what, it is despawned.

It took me 15mins to get that zombie villager to spawn then I am just gone lose it, curing a zombie villager is the only way you can get villager on the server atm, without using spawn eggs that is.

Is it away to turn zombie villager despawn off ? It is annoying now that we can finally trade with them again we can't get them cause of despawning..

I don't want the server to stay down for several hours more now, starting to get bored of waiting :/ I know it is worth it but I got no life.. :)

I finally managed to get 4 Wither Stars and was about to finish the Flintwood Spawn that was going to have 4 Beacons in it.

I set the beacons up to then see a very weird and slow animation, I asked San if it was like that for him to this to make sure it was Server Side not Client Side problem.

Idk what is wrong with the animation but as I said it is Slow, Weird and it is some times glitching out if you stand to far from it, this is not suppose to happen, can this be fixed if possible?

Ok so about like 10months ago or something I requested a skin to be made from the guy that created the famous "Honeydew Skin", I got banned from the account that I had requested this skin on cause I used their update logs wrong (This was back when the update log was not limited and people could use it just like they wanted).

Now 10months later I go on planetminecraft again after not being their for as I said months to find out he did make it 10 FREAKING MONTHS AGO!, I got such a bad feeling inside me when I found out and created a new account there just to say thanks, now I got a reply from him saying "no problem, I was wondering where you went" ... I laughed so much from that xD

Just wanted to share that little funny story with you guys before I go to bed, Night Everyone! ;-)

By the way this is the picture the skin was made out of, LOVE IT!

We haven't taken any specific steps to block the spawning of Wither Skeletons.

Please read information on the spawning of them. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Wither_Skeleton#Spawning. They only spawn in newly generated Nether Fortresses, where the area is actually detected as being a fortress.

What you mean detected as a fortress? is not all nether fortress detected as a fortress? :3, if not you might want to restart the nether to fix it.

I just don't see what type of damage a "Wither Skeleton" can do, the villagers were disabled due to their bad trading, you could abuse a villager to get a million Nbz in the state their were in before the restart, but the "Wither Skeleton" you can't really do much with then get A LOT of exp from and the"Wither Skull", which you can't even place..
