I totally agree with you taking action before your town gets much worse, but that will be a lot of unhappy players if they end up coming back, it will cause a commotion and you'd be in the wrong for taking the house/plot they bought from you :S. Oh and I'd be willing to help if you get the all clear from the Admins, but I'd need to speak with Buckie first 'cause I'm one of his TAs, I wouldn't be a permanent member in your town for that reason, but I'd definitely be able to pitch in and help clear a few plots here and there.
Their is a rule in my town that if you are gone for 2weeks you lose your plot, people been gone for months in my town and are highly unlikely not coming back  And about the perm member, you don't need to join the town to help out, I just do /town unclaim on the area and then you can break everything on that plot, it will cost a lot but will be worth it.

Flintwood is soon to be 7months old and we are getting both new members and more inactive members, in the start of the town I was not familiar with the whole towny plugin and did not pay attention to how it worked and this ended with a lot of 1 day register then quit users in town.
I am making this post to ask for help to clear old peoples houses and make Flintwood to a private town, yes a private town.
What I mean about a private town is I will kick all the members I never really knew and start the town back at I would guess 20 members, yes we got over 100 inactive people in Flintwood.
When I get to know the member that want to join the town I will ask him/her some questions and then invite the person, if people help me with this I will be very thankful cause Flintwood is looking like a bomb field atm cause of all the houses people half make then just "Quit" the server.
If you want to clear a plot ask me when I am online and I will /town unclaim the area so it turns to wildy and you can just clear ahead! :) Thanks to all who helps

If we were going to fix up the world outside of spawn again it would just be destroyed again within days, the area outside of spawn (Wilderness) is a place where you can destroy and do what you want when it is not taken as a grief, destroying a desert or leaving floating trees is not a grief and people will do it just to be annoying towards other players in a way they cant be punished.
Fixing the area will be a waste of items, money and valuable time cause it will quickly be destroyed again, sorry to say this.
It is a awesome and helpful idea towards fixing up the world but I wont participate :/

Like Twisted said when you set of TNT in your plot it can not go off before the owner of the plot has agreed to it with the command /Toggle tnt or /Plot set perm explosion on I believe but still if it is not on the explosion will still happen and this will take down pictures and all items that are 1 hit destroy, this can annoy people that got houses next to the player that did it cause their pictures pooped off (A TNT got a radius of 10 even tho it only destroy about 5 out when blowing up, so therefor it can simply destroy others stuff)

I was gone train herbalism today cause I almost never do that so I looked on the mcmmo forum and it said that mushrooms are the best to destroy for fast levels cause they give "150 xp" each, so I started collecting them.
After a while of collecting like 2 stacks of red/brown mushrooms from the nether I found out I still was not a new level, I started to wonder and then I found out they give 23xp each in difference from what the forums said.
I think 23xp from something that should be 150xp is kinda stupid to be honest, it is Ok to lower it but not by 125xp it is hard to train stuff like this, like fishing as another example takes ages and you get minimum amount of xp from it and in low level hardly rare drops.
Pliz raise the xp a little bit so it is not so boring to level cause you never get new levels

Why you want this role: It is times when I have seen their is no moderators on, the people that needs help starts to ask the VIP's for help (Myself is asked a lot from time to time) I just want to be more then a VIP if you know what I mean.
Past experience: Moderator on a larger Tekkit server 75 + people on most of the time, also Moderator on smaller servers.
Time zone: GMT/BST + 1, Oslo Norway
Additional information: I have once been temp-banned and I really wish that stupid argument that leaded to it never happened.. it was over a building cant believe I was that stupid but well for the more happy stuff I can give you guys a helper like you have never seen before (Yeah right) Well saying the truth I am a help-full guy and I try to be help-full as much as I can, if you accept me for the job I would highly appreciate it, I have always wanted to be a moderator here cause then I can feel like playing here for soon 9months helping people every time (Yes EVERY time) I am online has finally been paid of in a good way :)

So both me and a lot of others missed out on the new event that is in the events world now called the cube, it was no notification on the front side of the forums where I think stuff like this should go, I heard about people getting over 10 blocks of diamond and several emerald ores. It sucks to not know about this kind of events cause that kind of loot sucks to lose cause nobody told people about it that was offline. While the server is down we can all play a little game I just came up with lol..
Well the game is that when the server is back up what will you be doing ? Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, Sorting and so on :)
I am going to check my current balance, store the overflow money in to my town bank then go woodcutting for some more moneys ;)

As only an example my town Flintwood and Dragonfire are about 7000 blocks apart :) you can use the /t spawn (town) to get to every town so we don't need to waste around 100k rails on a rail system nobody will ever use cause commands are easier ;)

If you are downloading Modloader for Optfine you don't need to, Optifine don't run on Modloader if I remember right, I use Optifine and did not download/install Modloader and it works like it should :) But if you want it anyways you do: START -> %Appdata% -> .Minecraft -> Bin -> Open Mincraft.jar -> Drop The Modloader File In To The Minecraft.jar -> Delete META.INF (Very Important) -> Play! X-ray is a tool you can install to very easly find caves, this is a good way of finding Diamonds cause Diamonds spawn very often in caves so you can use X-ray to find it and therfor cheat your way to the top.
X-ray is perm ban always so I suggestion you should NEVER use it :)
