Update post:

Diamond has been putting in some hours to work on mining out the area, build a hallway and connect little rooms to it.
It's a great start, there are some attention to details in the build that I like, but there could be made a few adjustments, and a few more areas for people to 'live' so to speak.
I am going to give it a few more days to allow diamond to work on the decoration and details a bit more before I walk through it and take note of things I might like to change up a bit.

This job runs until April 14th-ish, so we're on schedule and a lot has already been done. I might myself start soon on a bit of terraforming and building around the area. But I will be back with some constructive feedback for little things to change before i can say i consider it done.

Review 11/10, would hire again. This area turned out really great. It was super fun to play together and build this and it went beyond what I asked for and matched the style Mistic_ice and I really enjoy building in as well.

     All I ever did when I came online really was socialise and build, but because it's become so expensive for my chunks, and 3hours per chunk just ain't cutting it, it was getting increasingly difficult to accomplish my grand ideas! I like to build large builds, and the only other way to do this is with a town, of which there aren't many active ones worth bothering.
     I frequent a few other servers, of which I won't name of course, and it seems that this one is kinda' behind the times of sorts, which I guess also pushes people away, but that doesn't mean to say the gang behind the server haven't done an amazing job, because they have, just to clarify.
     As for the socialising, well people move on and since most of the people I used to speak to on the regular stopped coming on, I too did.
Not to mention I'm just so out of touch with Minecraft now because I've not been around in probably a good year or so.
I regularly check the site to see who's online but there's rarely more than 1/2 members which makes me sad
     But in retrospect if more people had the same thought process as me now and just stuck it out instead of saying 'another day' then maybe there would be a lot more players frequenting the server. But I do agree, some form of incentive, or something to work towards would be nice, a ranking system of some sort outside of McMMo or something. I dunno man, but I agree.

I know it's possible to do this per chunk, but for example: if we have a place where we put spawners and allow people to use them for friends, it would be kinda nice if we could just toggle it on for all the wild plots, and just turn it off for all the wild ones again at a later time. Instead of per chunk.

Hello community,

Polish up your shovels, pickaxes, and get rid of the splinters on the workbench. It's time to stretch those muscles and get ready to spend a day, a weekend, a week or two building in town x. Get your decoration chests and resources ready to be put to good use.

Town x is looking for creative builders who are familiar with a natural / middle earth style of building. Do you have experience with creating a nice and cozy looking hobbit hole? And have the time in April to build something awesome for us? Then you're certainly the person we're looking for.

There are currently 4 plots (See video) that I will put up as embassy plots. If we pick you for the job you can claim those as yours and you can get started.

You're free to terraform the environment to fit your creativity, and as any hobbit hole, build down into the ground I guess, with a nice above ground round door opening. Just use common sense. Perhaps get inspired by some existing designs on the server or google images, youtube etc.

You will make the builds on behalf of town x. They become our property so to speak. After the build is finished we're free to customize it, take it down, rebuild it, sell the plots to players who want to live there. So it seems logical to compensate you for your troubles. And so we will.

You will get some money to help you repair your items and cover the cost of some of your resources that you yourself will supply. And you will get some money for simply taking the time to build on the plots. But, since we're paying, I think it's fair to say it should be more than a dirt hut or a square house with a roof made out of 16 logs of wood.. you know what I mean.

We can offer you a 175,000 nbz to cover your time, your costs, resources, and to say thank you for the hard work in  April. (it would be nice if it is done before the end of April.

We're looking for a friendly and cozy looking place with a creative approach, decorations, and basically something that's clear some effort has been put into it. Please only reply to this thread if you have a bit more than the basics of the building know-how and experience. It's a plus if you've made hobbit holes before of course.

What about credits? I am like davinci and demand my swag .. ok stop.. don't worry. You're free to leave a sign locked to a block (that's not in the way if ppl would live there) with your name on it. What is ok : build made by yourName, from town whatever.. What is not ok: like these builds? join town whatever (no advertisements,. basically).

Can I build with my friends?
Sure, we pay you.. if you want your friends to help you or pay them to help you.. that's fine. Just know you're responsible: If they grief the plot, I will come hunt you both down.

Wait, I have to use my own resources?
Yep, I am not always online, and waiting for me to show up to give you a beacon for example is unrealistic. I hope instead of paying 50k, I pay at least tripple as much for this job to help compensate in costs/resources.

Yep, you are simply helping us out adding some more things to our town.

What if I really like what I made, can I copy it to my own plot/wild/town?
If YOU made it, you are free to copy that. Yeah, I think that's more than fair.
If YOU did not make it, then we consider it stealing town designs. We play fair.

Oh, don't forget to leave the custom terrain trees in place, vanilla trees are easier to remove/place back, but .. custom ones are prettier and harder to replace. Just kinda build around it, or embed it into the build i thought i'd point that out
