I don't know... I just don't like this idea.
I would like to be able to move spawners... just the way you explained to do it... I personally don't like.
I was thinking of maybe a super rare pickaxe that could mine them but you couldn't repair?
The reason I'd limit it to the location the spawner you placed, is to prevent people from picking up 20 spawners with those 20 rare picks and placing them in a nearby area to make a super auto grinder.

Hey guys,
Once in a while, especially as time goes by, we'd love to just be able to move a spawner around a bit to match the design.
Sometimes we learn it's uneven, or a floor too high.. that sorta stuff.
I wouldn't personally object against having an option to pay with /gem or /money or mcMMO levels to have the ability to once or twice a year move a spawner up to 5 blocks in any direction. We wouldn't even have to be able to pick it up etc.
Just how we type: /spawners to buy one (which btw, is ready for an update with all the new mob types btw hehe), it could have controls to a next page at the bottom, where your own spawners you purchased through this system are listed, or even better, we point with our mouse at the spawner unit and type: /spawner move, .. and get a GUI with blocks to move it up down, left right .. and when it's in the right spot, we click save, with a confirmation box saying: you sure you want to pay x ?
Well, whatever the system might be that's handy, but.. it would be so handy to just move a spawner up or down a few places once in a while.

On the 18th of March earlier this year Noobstown became 7 years old! Unfortunately at the time we didn't have a big celebration like normal, so to celebrate this year; for the next seven weeks we'll be doing random seven minute bursts of 7x mcMMO XP! Plus a few other things which will be announced closer to them happening  . #braggingrightachieved
That's 7 minutes of 7x mcMMO XP hundreds of times over the next 7 weeks (until nearly the end of July)! They'll happen at random intervals, at the end of each 7 minute block of 7x mcMMO XP it'll then announce when the next one will begin! If you press tab to view the player list it'll also show you a countdown!
Keep an eye out for further announcements of other fun relating to 7 years of Noobstown! Happy belated Birthday Noobstown!
This was fun. It has helped me reach a few personal goals in regards to mcMMO, including feeling like I can finally say I am a top5 players after reaching rank 5 or better in every skill. Note though that it wasn't just 1,5 weeks of 7x that helps me get this high, but 4 years of hard work and grinding on nerfed skills. This "unlocked" 7x has helped me speed up the last few things I wanted to achieve. Would we still get money? Or would it be a chance inside of a chance? Would the items reflect the amount of money put into the lottery? Sounds like a good idea though.
I do not know specifics, just thinking it would be nice to have a variety of things to win in the lotto.. Maybe cut the money down to 25k, and put 25k worth of items in a box that changes, so we never know what we can win when we win.

Little update, because I keep getting questions The last few weeks I have not been able to really stream properly. Besides having a few issues with the routing from youtube (network thingy) I have also run into a few health issues. On top of that I got a tooth that caused an infection and needed to be pulled. So I was feeling under the weather, busy with docs, pros, and dentist appointments, and unable to concentrate long or talk for a long time. I am sure you guys can understand I am on the recovering side of things (hopefully) and most pains in my face should be gone soon. Which means this weekend I can start streaming again. The exact time/date is a bit uncertain, as it depends on how I feel, what's happening on the server, and how well youtube wants to play with my dutch internet connection. I also have a photoshoot to do, which has priority. The best way to stay in touch or get notified appears to be when you subbed to the channel and clicked that stupid youtube bell button. I do not always post the video link in this thread because I don't want to spam the forums. The channel is youtube.com/mrfloris by the way. Anyway, now you have a bit more info about some of the stuff that's going on with me and why I keep saying no to streaming or am a bit more cranky or distant. 24/7 pains and stuff ain't no fun yo. The stream will be back, at least for a few more times The Summer has started !
