could you make a noobstown builder rank?
As Larry said, what would be the point? Builders build for the benefit of the server; to say, public areas that would be locked from the public otherwise. That would be unfair towards the other members that can't build in areas (such as spawn because Builders help build public areas). Another thing is that how would you gain it? Would it be a staff rank? If it wasn't and it was lower than staff, then it's not really fair towards staff as they help contributing more than some simple buildings that would be boosted by a simple rank. I'd like to see your response to his, Honeydew, so you can put more detail into this.

I feel like sharing this. My own Diary of my life on NoobsTown.
I joined the server on November 2, 2012. I'm assuming it was V4 by then because Leigh said he joined "The first month of V5". I was here on behalf of my friend DwarfLeon that recommended it to me. I was still new to Minecraft and relied on him a lot. I joined DragonFire because he said it was a great town.
But one day, he said he'd quit because he'd gotten tired of it. So I was alone, I didn't talk a lot, I was just trying to make money.
One day, I was walking around in DragonFire, and I found this gargantuan sugar cane farm. I tried it out and I loved doing it because I didn't only get money, I also got levels and joy from it. So I bought VIP for 3 months to get the Double McMMO XP Perk to get to the Top 10, and eventually I got there. I continued to grind, but I had a competitor from me rising the tables: Citebafla. But I din't bother too much and continued harvesting.
When they announced that the ones that would be Top 10 in any McMMO skill or/and Top 100 Most Active, I harvested like ham until April 31st. The next day I flew to Asia and didn't log on NoobsTown during V5 anymore. I got paranoid that I'd get overthrown from my Top 10 spot, but fortunately, no one did, so I logged back on as a Veteran, February 22nd.
I had discovered the new McMMO Alchemy. I went "what's this?". I tried it out and I LOVED it! And after discovering the custom potions when you level up, I went ham on the skill for 3 months. I had grown new friends, such as Leigh5556, Halcyon13, blackrosemom964, etc. But I felt like something was missing. So I tried everything, from helping to gaining money, until I realized what I missed: Grinding skills in McMMO. So I did that until reality hit; I was getting addicted to the server.
So I took a break, and when I did come online, it wasn't for as long and it wasn't as frequent, until I finally left the server for a month. I had discovered other PC games, which I'm not going to mention. I drifted further and further away from NT until I one day came home and my IRL friend gives me a call and says "Wanna play Minecraft?"
I remembered NT and rushed to log back on, which was late November. I went ham on everything and today I am what I am: Proud McMMO Grinder, decent moneymaker, and my alter-ego: "The Alchemy King". I did re-establish thanks to mrfloris and Mistic_Ice for letting me in their town.
To new players: If you're new, try find the thing you enjoy about the server. It can be moneymaking, skill grinding, building, etc. And also know that the NoobsTown community is great and will always be.

The thing is though, maybe the "thief" didn't know it was a mistake and saw an opportunity to make a lot of money, without knowing it was a mistake. As Leigh said, "you make a mistake, you pay the price".

Hi and welcome! I'm Adam (as you can tell) and hope you have fun on the server  I personally think Town x is a great town to join, but it's not opened, so gotta ask TAs. There are loads of things to do! Grind skills, get rich, build amazing builds and so on!

Spawners allow a constant supply of mobs in the location it is placed, allowing you to always have mobs in that area. 3 million for a personal spawner is fair and 3 million for a town is nothing, if your residents band together and purchase one for the town its a very small price to pay.
So spawners are only allowed in Towny, because you said "town"?

The reset timer is a good idea, but make it 30 seconds instead of 1 minute, otherwise it'll take forever between two people.

I have been suggesting this before, but I'd like to see Concoctions Rank go in a consistent pattern. When I came back from my "break", I tried Alchemy. It was 5 times harder.
Alchemy isn't really a skill many grind, although the people that do complain about how hard it is after the tweak that made it harder. And that only further boosts the suggestion of putting the Alchemy ability Concoctions go in a somewhat easy and consistent pattern, I'd really love to see this.

I feel like it would be too easy. It is a survival server and you get things by survival methods. It would lose the meaning and obviously me misused. It would make enchanting way too easy if you have a lot of money.

This is an updated application. IGN: adam5979 Age: 13 Time: CST/CEST Why do you want to become a Prefect?: I started my NC journey for about 2 years ago, back in V5. I've been gone for periods of time, but now I feel that I will stay. I've enjoyed NoobsCraft ever since I joined on the times I've been on. My knowledge of Minecraft is more than the average and I pretty much know about everything concerned about mostly the basic stuff, more than many out there. I did get Veteran because I ended up on the Top 10 Herbalism. I waited for V6 after V5 closed down and played ever since. I wasn't there at the first day, but I came fairly early. My levels in MCMMO are one of the highest (maybe Top 50 in power level, not really sure) and I'm trying to go very high at multiple industries concerning shops, which would make a lot of money. I bought VIP+ and I've also donated before, even back in V5. I'm greatly dedicated to the server when I do play on it and I try to /vote every day. MCMMO, Towny, Chunky, all those plugins am I very familiar with. I've been aiming to build up my town where I am the mayor (Futuria) at all times. I've been Owner and Co-Owner and other staff ranks in other servers (not mentioning any names) and every time I'm on Minecraft, I'm in TS as well to help them directly. I want to use this knowledge to help people. Make them succeed, make them fully enjoy NoobsCraft, and that encourages them to stay and help out the community, which strengthens it and making it grow. To keep it family friendly is also a very key thing. I know kids (slightly younger than me) that don't know foul languages and then someone comes in and cusses in a way so it bypasses the chat filter. With the cussing, they will also be learning cusses and then they will think that it's ok when it's not. I'm also really strict about the /rules and if I see someone break a town/wilderness/server rule I always tell them not to, but the Prefects and the Moderators (even the Admins) are the ones that they listen to. With a family friendly society, both kids, teenagers and adults will enjoy the server fully, which makes it more popular and happier. The Prefect behavior is nothing really that bothers me as I don't mind getting my behavior monitored by the staff. Thank you for your time and I hope you can take me into consideration. //adam5979
