But... There are already three ways to do this. Mob Arena is one of them (and you get item prizes too). PvP is the second (and you even get damage to your armor so you can improve Repair skill as well). Thirdly, there are *cough* mob farms, of which I will give no detail

miner how do you know you will defintly get veteran?
MM is currently 9th/10th in /mctop (neck-and-neck with Anime), with the 11th place being a couple hundred mcMMO levels away. He is also in the top 10 of three skills that are pretty challenging to level: Axes, Fishing, and Unarmed. With an average power level of 470, this guarantees him at least 11,280 tokens, more than halfway to 20k. He's also in the Top 100 most active. It may be safe to say that he needs just minimal effort to keep it going all the way to veteranship. Way to go MM!  On the other hand, things like 2x or 3x mcMMO XP events in the remaining V5 months may introduce a chance of upsetting the boards. So I guess we'll never know. But good luck everyone!

In a mail message, one would have to upload the pic onto a photo website (photobucket/tinypic/postimage/imagesomething), then copy the url of the image itself. The image url goes in between the img brackets.

In theory, if you move far enough from the mobs, they won't disappear. Whenever I'm shearing sheep and the warning comes on, I do /t spawn (nova/oakvale/some really far town) and wait for it to happen. Then just go back and find them all still there. (Or if you have a /home in Mine World, that also works. Or just /spawn).
But the problem is if there are people around you who don't like to leave (or don't get the idea that you need to leave in order for the mobs to stay).
I also tried logging off right before CLAG happens, but I'm not sure if that works.

We expanded to the plot right next to us.
All music discs (except for the two common ones) are now being sold at 600.

Some thoughts:
In general, those who have spent a lot of time already in Noobstown (such as myself) may think of voting as somewhat of a hassle, and also because we've found other ways to earn in-game money. So in general, the newer players comprise a majority of voters, since they need that "headstart" money. Giving a v6 token award for voting will give newer players an equal ground with those who are long-time players/have high power levels.
Also it gives long-time players a motivation to vote, maybe, and altogether keep our server with high votes at pmc.
It's also easy to calculate for a reasonable/balanced token voting reward, since we can only vote once a day and there's a finite number of days until v6.

Aaa! This has happened to me a few times too. (Compassed into a fence, or teleported on cake). Can't even get control of the mouse. It's as if I was falling on the same block over and over, a fraction of a second at a time, with the cursor/view being reset each time.
Try holding down the jump button and choose a direction to jump. (Ahh, soul sand back in those days).
Or, copy "/home" or "/spawn" somewhere, then in-game, quickly go to chat, then Ctrl+V and enter.
Or to relog, hit Esc and click Disconnect as fast as possible. Once you log in, you may have a few splitseconds of extra time, to jump off.

One more thing- The server tracks our cash, the blocks we place, what we have in chests, when we joined. When the server resets, would it be possible for the server to total up everyone's individual total net worth? A "final score" if you will? Not that it really matters, but it would be fun to see what I accumulated and my average daily income. How many pick axes I made. How many times I died. How many time I teleported. Whatever the server tracks that could be re-distributed to us would be cool. Try /lb me, and /lb page #. Should show you the breakdown of each type of block you placed/destroyed, and how many. Although... The Game Statistics says that "Top 10 by Blocks Placed" is periodically reset, so these may be only accurate until the past few months, in the same way Top 10 by In-Game Time is too. And I take it we wanna see where we rank over all, and with other stats included.

I'm a V5-er. I have never been a mayor, never had over 180k Noobz. The best power level I was able to do was 300 levels shy of entering the Top 10. I'm not saying I understand people's frustrations. (I will never be able to). I'm tempted to liken the reset to a natural calamity (in a sense, it just happens), where people just pick things up and move on. Fresh start. Lose some, but gain ... more than some. All these new features, larger maps, grief protection. In the end, it was the experience that mattered. The thrill of level-grinding. Of proudly showing one's latest build. The ...coolness of making friends (and hitting them with a sword. Or stick or fish). It's ...community. So. While somewhat disheartening, it would be an honor to join the ranks of the veterans (not the rank, but the group of people who have seen a version change). I'm eager to see you guys in V6! ...with item frames! Please?

Send your Jakeys wolves to battle (vs mobs or people) with a high Taming skill. They will be able to heal themselves, get less damage, and avoid fire/cactus/high falls.
Using seeds, be able to turn dirt to grass, cobble to mossy cobble, and stone brick into mossy stone brick with Herbalism's Green Thumb.
Retrieve arrows from any mob you kill with a bow with high levels of Archery.

Stuck in a cage with a crazy tiger for a week. Don't we all do that with Tidal anyways? Plus, didn't I already say I hate peanut butter, ew?! (and that would be Zoey 101, Mr. Fred ) ^^ Stomach crunches all the way! I am not the "athletic type," but stomach crunches/double crunches used to be the only exercise I do every day. P.S. Tada! Respect points! Just an image lol  Would you rather be able to fly, or be invisible?
