Yes, you can. In both wild and mw. No perms required. And yes, tools can be sold, just hold it in your hand and type /iteminfo. The number (sometimes numbers with weird numbers/letters) is the item ID---the thing you type in the fourth line of the sign.

No, it doesn't cost xp. Just a normal apple on a crafting bench surrounded by *sigh* 8 gold blocks *sigh*

I did the math to see about connecting Tortuga to Cloudsong once... You don't want to know how much gold and iron is needed. They are about literally across the whole world, too. In the end, it would bankrupt both towns 1/10th the way into it, and still, no one would use it.
*Topic Resuscitation*I believe I now have enough gold to connect Tortuga to Cloudsong. One gold ingot = one powered rail right? (I almost typed powdered rail). And powered rails can be placed 9 spaces apart, right? Under these assumptions, I can cover a length of over 7,000 blocks with my gold. I don't have enough iron though. Maybe I should rummage through abandoned mines and collect some rails. The problem is, even if we get a railway done, CLAG will confiscate our minecarts

Enchanted gold apples offer a couple more buffs besides regen. Apparently you also get Fire Resistance and normal Resistance for 5 mins. And its regen effect is more potent. All that gold... could've been 72 power rails

About typing /tpa requests, you can type in the first three or four letters of the player's name and most of the time, the /tpa command accepts it. Such as /tpa san for San57x100 or /tpa droc for DrOctagonapus48. But sometimes it's not that accurate, because if both RedFocus and myself are on, I usually get the /tpa red requests for some reason.
So take it one step further and hit the tab key after typing the first few letters. The chat will automatically type the player's whole name. Like if I type /tpa cool and hit tab, it will become /tpa coolquote, if he's on.

I recently gave a resident the Plot-Master rank, but he was not able to use the command /plot forsale.
The chat stated: You are not a mayor or an assistant.
I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this same problem.
Our former Plot-Master also had the same problems; our Mayor had to promote him into an Assistant.

Did You Know...that it takes over 9,600 successful fishing catches on average to reach a Fishing level of 600? (9633 to be exact) *+150 Respect to our fishing masters Diggy and Entangled*Oh, Did you know, that nothing is forever, but it's forever everything?
I heard this pick-up line that goes, "Let's be nothing... 'cause I heard it lasts forever."

My most recent bulk purchases were diamond and obsidian (for repair and pixel-art). I like your idea of 5 weekly deals . Be sure to read the signs look around the forum (such as these discussions [1] [2]) for tips on managing a shop (like pricing, supplies, and such). EDIT: And oh, if you want more ideas, take note of what people ask for in the global chat. Some of the things I've seen people buy are wool, brick (item), leather, dyes, and enchanted diamond stuff.

One of the shops in Nova's shop district sells TNT. (First shop to the right, I think. Forgot whose it was). Also, gunpowder can now be bought from/sold to the server shop, so if you have sand you can craft it. EDIT: Ahh. Here it is.

Or co-op with a buddy Umm. I've been watching Star Trek TNG. Borrowed the whole series from a friend earlier this year, still haven't gotten through watching all of it. Halfway through Season 2 right now

"Party at Daniel's house! Oh, you know where it is!" Lol... But then what if somebody else places a beacon on their house? I would take a RespIII helmet so I could explore the ocean depths *nyarrr*

I just hope I never get up somewhere high and start thinking that I've got my acrobatic skills high enough to handle the fall.
...this would be bad. I'm glad I'm not into parkour or working for construction or an actual circus, because I'd be looking for that left shift key every time! Meanwhile, one of my actual jobs involves helping people online over chat. I find myself typing a "t" a lot, thinking it would initiate chat!

It's always tough when your Noobie friends aren't online. It's worse when they leave. RelicsLess than a week ago I said good-bye to one of my first friends in Noobstown. She said she was gonna leave the server. She had me rummage through her chests and pick things I want to keep. I took some valuables and enchanted tools for safekeeping, in case she decides to come back. I also took the full blue-dyed enchanted armor set she intended to give to our other friend (who hasn't been coming on for unknown reasons). I'll spare the rest of the details. After declaring a drop party at spawn and leaving a note to our other friend, we went to a town she planned on building (but never finished). She put her far disc in a jukebox and we just walked around the empty plots in bittersweet silence for what seemed like an hour. Finally, as the sun was rising, we said our good-byes. And just as soon as the music faded, she was gone. I took the far disc from the jukebox and proceeded to make a time-capsule chest for her at /home. I thought and thought of what memorial to build for her and our other friend. And now, I've finished it.

One of these days I should fill my invie with Speed potions and just explore for ruins. I'm reviving this topic because I've been reading old topics under "Towns and Nations" and it seems like there were some really good towns back in the day. Towns that somehow died away. Some notables were Farout's bunkerish DeepHaven, terrence's BaronsCourt, Geo's Entrolla, NinjaJosh's The_Black_Forest, Linda's sakura-decked KochiraKoso, and [umm] OakHaven. And I wish I know where to go so I could go visit the ruins. I mean, an actual underground town?! A piece of paradise for this burrower Unless... Umm, do any of these towns actually live on under another name? I also took note of a couple of renamings to existing towns-- Glasgow was formerly Buckfast_Abby, Gardell was formerly Esforniaq, Tortuga was formerly HeavenDawn. Note that I've only been around for a couple of months, so if it seems like I'm speaking out of line, do rebuke me.

Thx for map. But new netherfrost located near oakvile.
But... but... I just tp'd to NetherFrost, walked along the brick roads and beheld the wizard tower. I even passed by the recently finished underground netherwart farm. I took note of the coords. Then I went to Oakvale, expanded my Render Distance so I can see the Oakvale emblem in the sky, and compared coords. Oakvale and NetherFrost are about 5000 blocks apart. Could it be... an outpost? At any rate, I take this posting opportunity to make updates. - Updated a few town's nations--some nations lost some of their towns

I was asking myself, "Why would a certain nation-wide bakery/pastry brand shut down?" I thought, "If they needed more raw materials, they should just build farms on top of their farms--" Yeah.

100 noobs for 13 and cat and about 3500 noobs for all the others That's because 13 and cat are all too common because a lot of people get them as item drops due to the Excavation perk. They are also the only discs that might be found in dungeon chests. All the other discs can only be acquired in two very difficult ways--- Raise your Fishing skill to 600 (which requires hundreds of successful catches normally), or have a Skeleton kill a Creeper. The Broken Disc can only be acquired with a Fishing of 600+. EDIT: As of the 1.4.4 update, the Broken Disc (11) can be acquired by having a Skeleton kill a Creeper. A new disc (wait) can also be acquired similarly.

We (speaking generally) did know/hear; and we expressed our sympathies-- (see topic here)-- and continue to do so. I could imagine the effects of a natural calamity like that could be long-term and still fresh in one's mind There were some who weren't able to get on because of outages, and we're happy that they're back on now.

One's gender is specified in their forum profile. For those who think it's too personal, there's an option to not specify it.
Ohh, in-game relationships. -_-
EDIT: To be more detailed, go to "Community" and click "Members." Here you can "Search for Members," and clicking on their name will bring up their profile and information.
There have been several in-game weddings as far as I've heard/seen. There are even screenshots somewhere in the forums.

- Added the location of Karakura Town

I have actually used this item grouping thing many times to my advantage. When there are items that are beyond my reach, I toss one item of the same kind at my feet, and it will pull the other item towards me.
Also, when I dig clay, I really don't like ending up with 3 leftover clay items because I neglected to swim towards the one clay drop that's beyond reach. You really don't have time to swim around to get that last piece of clay when you're underwater.
Furthermore, there's a little glitch where you'll see an item in a falling animation loop (falls down to the ground, comes back to starting height, then falls again over and over). I've seen this happen with leaf drops (saplings/apples). They cannot be acquired unless I toss a similar item to group it with. If I've had chat screenshots, I've heard this happen to another player, whose gold block item kept falling and he can't pick it up. Unfortunately the plugin was momentarily turned off; my suggestion to toss another gold block was meaningless, and he ended up losing his gold block.
