XD I've seen your sign(s)! Cheap gold eh. So Red deals with wood, Random deals with ores and such... what exactly do Shadow and Meepster add to the merchandise variety?
EDIT: Maybe I should become part of this company since I keep getting tp's that are meant for RedFocus lol

By default (it's a Towny thing), plots are of size 16x16 even if there's a house on it that occupies two plots. You'll have to claim the second plot as well. Also, you asked-- can you be in 2 towns or just in one?
No you can't. Just one. But you can buy [Embassy] plots in other towns if you have friends who live in other towns. Each player can only have up to 4 plots total. If there isn't an embassy plot readily available, you can ask the town mayor/staff if they can let you have one. That's how I got my OceanView plot

if you level up your wood cutting skill, would you be able to use tree feller on giant jungle trees?
Not necessarily. The only thing you need is an axe with high enough durability. If you had an Unbreaking III Diamond Axe even at Woodcutting Lv 0, chances are good that you'll successfully use Tree Feller on 2x2 jungle trees. Raising your Woodcutting level will increase the time when Tree Feller is active. (Increases by 1 second every 50 levels).

Additionally, when we recommend this server to our real life friends (and family), they get on as guests and chat is a convenient way to talk with them. But, neb does have a point. Like when our trusted mods aren't on and there's a disruptive guest. It seems that /ignore remains the only alternative, and that's what that command is for. It lets members single out and mute disruptive and disrespectful folks: guests and players alike. If they did something to earn it, then they get what they deserve, right? Although, I do wish an /ignore list was available. We all started out as mere guests. EDIT: Oh! Another option is to /ch leave g. Like, tell everyone you're gonna do something and you're leaving genchat, if anyone needs you then they /msg you. Down side is you won't get to hear the rest of the members too

Look up the McMMO Wiki site for what the skills are. You get different abilities and bonuses, all of which are detailed in that website. Most of those are highly useful in Noobstown. Also, for more information on a specific skill, do /<skillname> on the chat. EDIT: The "more info" doesn't work for /mining though. (Maybe because the chat mistakes it for a chat channel, the Mining World channel). EDIT: They just now fixed the /mining issue! Yay admins!

Yes. You don't have to change it into a shop plot or buy a shop plot. You can set up chest shops in your own plot. Here is Foob's guide on what to put on the signs for your shop.

It turns out that San had another occupation during the 5-year war, which was unknown to everyone in Noobstown. He was a... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Th6PW5VwDFI#...pirate! ...King! A pirate king lol. Conquering the unexplored ocean biomes and looting all the treasurrrres that lie beneath.

EmperorMyrf has been in hiding over those five years, secretly busying himself at the Research and Development Department, preparing to unleash an army of remotely controlled drones.

Selling logs is really a great way to go. Here's one supplementary idea-- collect merchandise of all sorts, allowing you to have a diverse range of products. Then, when somebody in chat needs it desperately, engage in a transaction, agree at a reasonable price, and boom Also, selling enchanted items are a good way to make money. Especially if you have a good enchant xp grinding method. It's also important to keep track of what the current prices are for most items. Even the uncommon ones like leather and cacti (dyes might be in demand due to the update, as well as spider eyes). That way, when you sell something, you're well-informed of what the price should be.

The server is currently down; sometimes when it's down it shows a frozen list of players on the website.
Meanwhile... *looks for that "Server's down: The Game" topic*

I actually found several untouched dungeons in mainworld, so there's still room. *fills up saddle chest* But, I guess aspiring new-town owners should first figure out if their new town will have room to expand. Not build a town at a certain spot because they feel like it's a great place or has a nice view, etc. (See recent World Map here) Going back to the topic question-- hm. I'd like to see more pixel art I know there's some that I've seen and others that I haven't.

Ahh, the magic of those master card things Best of luck, edix! Go find you a spot with some dungeons nearby so your new town could have a mobgrinder.

Hmm. What about narrowing down the culprit? Make sure perms are set right (r--), to rule out non-residents? Or even disable all perms for a short time to see if the problem is replicated without anyone touching it. (The town staffers and architect would have unconditional build/itemuse perms everywhere, right?)
Clarifying question: Is it, single jungle trees, one block apart? (making sure it's not 2x2 jungle trees). Single trees that are one block apart would generally be a poor design, if the saplings grow naturally. (It would be great for the bonemeal-treefeller method though). I've experienced saplings being uprooted when another sapling right next to it grows naturally (probably due to block update).

Ha! This scheme worked out, but for only about a week. I realized 1:2 was too much of a reward. But now I try to find other means to be productive. One does not simply ...become productive through self-motivation I talked to some friends (which is sometimes what we all ever really needed) to try to get *le support group*. (I know, this all seems to be a bit too personal. My aim is to present a glimpse of the grown-up world to young readers, and how older folks solve their own problems irl). I went to the bowling alley/arcade last night with some friends. Went and played some Time Crisis 4, then I realized something. I'd pay around $5 for a game that wouldn't even last 10 minutes, but I've spent hours on Noobstown! Didn't add up, so I went ahead and bought points here. Besides, I already had over 1000 from Noobween . I now have enough for [VIP], but I am not going to buy just yet. I'll wait for a period when I'll have tons of free time. Which probably won't be until December. I recently went through the topics under the "Other" forum category, and realized that several Noobstowners have declared that they'll take a break. Be gone for a week, or a month, due to work/vacation/camp. So I guess it's not uncommon to do just that, if I feel like I need to. *le sigh* Ohh, adult life. Quarter-life-crisis. Meh. Gotta press forward. Ohh! Man I love that signature! Read the signs! With his face, lol!
And about the siggy; it's hyperlinked to the Memebase topic, which is being updated occasionally

Crafted items usually go by the price of their raw materials. Say, a regular diamond helm should sell for about 5*200 = 1000 Noobz. For enchanted items, people usually auction them. Most enchanted diamond tools sell for anywhere between 4k (low-end or single enchants) to 30k (3 or 4 enchants with 1 or 2 of them being rare like ST or EffV). When selling to a player, either buyer or seller would usually initiate it: "Buying this item" or "Selling this item" on global chat. People respond "Yes, I'd like that!" on global chat, but sometimes it's best to use private messaging ( /msg <playername>) unless it's an auction. An initial price is set, which may go up or down until the two parties are satisfied. When a deal is made, they go somewhere isolated (so people close by won't steal). Some buyers prefer you hold the item in your hand first. Some buyers would like you to hand it to them first so they can verify that it is unused/in good condition. Some sellers would want the buyer to pay first. Either way, the buyer does /money pay <seller name> <price> and the seller tosses the merchandise at the buyer's feet. Finally, thanks are given and the transaction is completed. I was gonna say, do "/shop list" for prices, but it's down right now . The next advice would then be to check prices at the spawn shops (/spawn and to the right). I'd look up the buying price for the raw materials to get an idea on how much I would sell my merchandise.

Not all of those commands are accessible for residents. It would just say that they don't have permission to use that command.
