Anvils (Minecraft ones) are protected under the "building" setting because they can be broken if used to the point of being too damaged. So for someone to be able to use an anvil they'd need "building" permissions. They do not use LWC protection at all.
Well that's irritating. Brewing stands are in a bit of an odd situation. As they can hold items; they are also protected by LWC by default (/cprivate, etc.), but also require the to have "building" permissions on the land too. So for someone to use a brewing stand they must have both "building" permissions, and also be able to access it based on LWC locks.
Again irritating.
Is it possible to make them both only accessable from LWC because I don't want to turn on building perms.

Another update? Yes! Because besides being slowed down by 7x mcMMO events, we've still been working on a bunch of little things. From expanding town plots and taking on more residents, to mining out the level for the next row of crops, fixing towny plot permissions, cleaning up builds, adding more builds, replacing builds, and working on terraforming .. ok, i could go on..
This update is to let you guys know the next thing is a little pvp arena spot for quick player fights. I made something last night in single player and got some help from emmabear on improving the design, and I think it's going to be fun. This morning I made a start at one of our outposts. Which will soon open properly, I guess.
Anyway, here's a little sneak preview.

That reminds me I need to do a PVP arena (The one from the event is not here to stay) and some mini games, AND I need to finish the elytra course XD

question: i am listed at # 20 with 157 lvls gained for almost everything i looked at, and i find 157 lvls gained for each skill hard to believe. very hard. it looks like these are not real statistics, but something guessed at? made up? can you explain a little better how you arrived at these numbers, please?
thank you!
If your looking at Power level, then that's 157 Level over all. Not the average of your skills.

Just to inform people who have joined my town: I'll give all those who join my town a free plot!

Maybe 25% of the taxes collected goes to nation then 75% of taxes goes to town... but I'm not sure what a nation would do with the money, possibly have nation events... wait we should do that!

This still in effect? I don't think you ever gave me the plots to change the stone to dirt or even told me in-game of where to do it .

Raiden started playing in V4, though it was the tail end of that. We'd known each other for years, and kept in touch. When we started dating, he fell off Minecraft for a bit. But we got to talking about Minecraft, and how I wanted to find a server to play on. He mentioned NT, so we plugged in one day. It was towards the end of a Thanksgiving quest, and my first death was on sir_andrew's guardian grinder stairs. I was kinda mad about that, since I'd done SO well til then.
There were a lot of people who helped me early on, and I was really thankful for that. Raiden outfitted me with iron, so I didn't struggle too badly. Joined Ethereal and worked my way up the ranks to co-mayor. Somewhere in there I think cruisinkiy asked if anyone had some orange tulips, and it turned out I did, since Raiden and I had just ravaged a flower forest. Recruited cruis to Ethereal after seeing his build, and he became a big part of Ethereal too. Did a lot of stuff there, and left to start LunarFalls.
Cool! I wanted to play as a player and see how other servers do it. Went to PMC and checked out the top50 servers, I saw only a couple of them were family friendly, including a top25 ranked noobstown. I joined, someone from staff was friendly enough to ask my 5 stupid test questions and doc_engie and duelcon stood out, gave me directions where to settle and some food to survive. Hey I thought, a friendly place to stay, and I've never (yet) seen a server that busy. That first weekend was a drop party and I had no idea what that was, the server peaked at 100+ users joining.
It was fun.
100+ players?? I'll reply once I hop on computer as typing long on phone is evil. I have an interesting one though. Lol
I actually like typing on the phone (it has auto correct)

Nice job! Maybe you'll be the once to convince Larry to raise the mcmmo max cap.
Is that something people actually want? I was under the impression people wouldn't want the cap raising further once hitting it? Anyone with comments on this; let me know!
Maybe if each skill has someone at the limit then it would be okay I guess... But not till I hit 4K acro at least!!

This is basically a post asking how you came to find Noobstown and any stories that may have happened to you as you played the server that is Noobstown Here is mine: Sometime in setember I searched through the servers trying to find a survival server as the one I used to play on wasn't able to pay to be a server any more, I happened to come across Noobstown I was intruiged but didn't come on. About a month later I remembered Noobstown and decited to finally give it a try. As I joined I saw a big (not really but it seemed big at the time) "PLEASE WELCOME: Diamondpuppy808!" I was filled with exitment until I realised I was the only person on the server. Later I somehow joined a town: Emerald_City I sorta just wandered around not really sure what to do, then I wanted to make a town I soon discovered I needed 500K I thought I'd never get that amount (I also left the town the same day XD) As I was wandering around someone joined I was so happy, I didn't know what to do sooner or later they left. I came to the mining world and soon discovered... well 2 things to be exact first a fish shack, it was my source of food for a while (Thx Kill XD) and second I found out that sand sells for 2Noobs each I began digging sand with my fist for the next 10 minutes. That was... basically how I got introduced to Noobstown I also had to learn most things myself as I wasn't very talkative at the time and didn't know about the forums . So anyway whats YOUR story? Something like this may have already been posted... but if so it doesn't seem to be an active part of the forums

So as I recently learned, you can't create chat channels. I was wondering if it would be possible to create a new chat channel for mayors of towns?
I would like this idea +1 I'm thinking we have 8-10 active towns, not counting really just estimating, and between those towns we basically split players.
Unfortunately that's a bit to high Each week is a constant struggle to gain the 3 new players that join the server, and who happens to be on.
Yes It's fairly annoying I think that with this channel it'll feel much less like a struggle, and instead bring us together to plan massive and really cool events.
Yes!! Even though I don't have many residents at the moment it will still be very useful -Hyper
You know you can have that as your signature right?

Did you ever find someone to do this? I’ll try to remember to take a look when I’m on again and do it, unless someone (suddenrose does great banner work!) else has already done it.
I've got a few from floris but not enough I had those lying around diamond, check your /gift
Thx

Alright time to announce the event . First of all you can only use iron swords/armor that aren't enchanted. This is so the "fights" don't last too long. It work in "divisions" so if we have 8 people (I don't think there will be that many but we can hope) then it'll be like this: P1---\ /---P5 >--P1---\ /---P5--< P2---/ \ / \---P6 >P1 vs P5< <--This took me so long to make so if it doesn't work... P3---\ / | \ /---P7 >--P3---/ | \---P7--< P4---/ P1 Winner! \---P8 The time: www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=PVP+event&iso=20180630T17&p1=64The prize: 60,000Nbz Plus as a extra bonus since it's iron armor we can have a little repair grind after it too .

Hey guys,
Once in a while, especially as time goes by, we'd love to just be able to move a spawner around a bit to match the design.
Sometimes we learn it's uneven, or a floor too high.. that sorta stuff.
I wouldn't personally object against having an option to pay with /gem or /money or mcMMO levels to have the ability to once or twice a year move a spawner up to 5 blocks in any direction. We wouldn't even have to be able to pick it up etc.
Just how we type: /spawners to buy one (which btw, is ready for an update with all the new mob types btw hehe), it could have controls to a next page at the bottom, where your own spawners you purchased through this system are listed, or even better, we point with our mouse at the spawner unit and type: /spawner move, .. and get a GUI with blocks to move it up down, left right .. and when it's in the right spot, we click save, with a confirmation box saying: you sure you want to pay x ?
Well, whatever the system might be that's handy, but.. it would be so handy to just move a spawner up or down a few places once in a while.
I don't know... I just don't like this idea. I would like to be able to move spawners... just the way you explained to do it... I personally don't like. I was thinking of maybe a super rare pickaxe that could mine them but you couldn't repair?
