Flux mining is an mcmmo mining 'perk' where ores will auto smelt sometimes and drop ingots. It's actually inefficient as heck because when you smelt normally there's a double drop chance. VIP can disable this. Otherwise if you don't want it to happen you need to use silk touch on ores.
Cool thanks :P thankfully I know that double drop from smelting isn't VIP lol unless it has been changed...

The website shows it differently than ingame, and even ingame it can list it differently.

If you got a bit more exp points hitting 4k you will rank higher on one list than on the other. It doesn't really matter, a cap is a cap. whatever rank it assigns to you.
Ah... well lol I still want to have the confirmation that I would in fact beat you XD

Possibly having some more of MCMMO skills like say: End city raiding, enchanting, crafting so there would be more skills to level , as many people have hit the limit *cough* floris *cough*

That'd be a cool addition I can see it being heavily abused though :P unless there were some way to make sure that it's an event?

Thanks to everyone who took part in all of the events last night, and during the 7 weeks of 7x mcMMO XP; I hope you all enjoyed it! We've now passed 7 weeks of the 7x madness, and as such it'll finish tomorrow morning (Monday 30th).
Thanks for doing the event I enjoyed it :D

Kinda sad the 7x is going to end D: but I at least know I've gained at least 2K levels :D

EDIT: I wonder if I'd be able to see actual numbers... would that be possible?

There is a 5% sales tax (charged to the seller) on shop signs, yes; the seller (be that the chest owner or the person selling to a shop) will receive 5% less than the sale value displayed on the sign. I can understand your suggestion in terms of wanting to make money, however the sales tax is one of only a small limited number of ways that money is actually able to leave the overall economy; something we somewhat want to allow for.

I can understand the idea that maybe Towns could add an additional sales tax on top of the 5%, so they could maybe set a custom additional tax which would then go to the Town. What do you think about that, is that something you might want or is that not in the spirit of what you were suggesting?
There is a tax? Is that why when I sell say... 64 raw fish for a shop that buys it for 100 I only get like 90? Or is that a bug...

There are parties and party chat. If you use /p in-game it'll take you into a channel to chat with your party. If you invite those you want to chat with and they accept then they too can take part using that.

We used to do have Town chat channel which was effectively a channel per Town, is this what you're suggesting? Or are you suggesting a channel which is limited to Town Mayors, so all mayors see a single new channel just for them?
It would be nice to be able to create chat channels? Aside from parties so you'd in theory be able to be in several of these chats at the same time :P (Unless you can be in several parties at the same time :P)

You two are now having a discussion that the staff should be having, not players.
Ahh... sorry :P

The site will already limit automatic quoting to one quote deep, so unless you specifically go out of your way to do it, it won't automatically create horrible quote chains where each quote contains the previous quote etc.

Wut. In that case that means the staff are too LAZY to lock it which I do not believe is the case.

And at that point, different staff could have different votes on what's relevant, then locking and unlocking the thread.
Then it would be what the majority of the staff vote?

In that case it depends what relevant means to the person, and what it means to the person or may not mean to the community.

I'm sure theres a way to code into the website that after a certain amount of time, the thread locks. And for warnings, staff would just do that.
I'm sure that there would be a way to code it, but it just isn't needed, I mean how often do you REALLY see people bump really old (and irrelevant) threads?

Different threads may have different amounts of relevance depending what it is. Suggestions may be more updated over other, making old suggestions needing to be closed off.
