Yes, but also with an anti-xray mod, it would allow moderators to spend less time worrying about x-rays and Im pretty sure that alot of people who use x-ray mods not advertise it. I still feel that an anti-xray mod would be very beneficial to the server.

 

not to rain on parades, but theres texture packs that are substitutes for X-Ray mods, and with Optifine's Texture Pack switcher ability, it wouldnt be too hard to swap out a texture pack to report someone, then go right back to using it.

It is not always so easy to check for x-ray mods.

We tend to avoid installing any plugins which require client side mods to work. Whilst I didn't completely read the topic you posted; if it did require client side mods it would be rejected straight away.

Does it require the client to be modded to work?

Just saw it in the forum post. I understand that its not going to be used in the server. I didnt know it required a client, but yea ok thanks for at least looking at the suggestion.

We have tried a plugin like this a while ago, but it didn't seem to work, but maybe it has been fixed since then.
I will look into this see if there are any plug-ins like that which are suitable for the server, thank you for your suggestion, and I agree that it is unfair for others players, that people can become rich easily and most people have to earn it properly, that's why I'm against x-ray mods.

Not to mention unfair leveling of MCMMO, and the potential to destroy the in-game economy.

I feel that this server should have an anti-xray mod. I know that it will/can cause lag, but the major problem is that people with X-rays can ruin the game. They can rule the server with having tons of money from selling diamonds and gold. They will also have all the good armor and tools. With an anti-xray we could potentially rid the server of most people who use hacks or modded clients with X-rays, for the X-ray is a very common mod and I feel it is overused, overpowered, and a cheap way of playing the game.

I would definatly like to see a market district setup on this server, I guess there would be a warp like /warp shops or something, but yea sounds cool, would love to get a shop once it is setup

I gained so much from that. It was fun (check my ban record, teehee), I gained the loss of a server spot on my server list, and, the best of all, I don't miss anyone. Also, that whole, "I left for Africa" thing was all fake, it was just to cover up my griefing tracks. I was griefing in the time I was gone, and you know what? I might get a couple of alternates while i'm bored, and come on to see whats going on! You never know, something may happen again!

I do not really see why you have "fun" by ruin what other people have done. You said yourself that you used to enjoy noobstown. So why don't you let other people have their "fun" and leave them alone. Im also pretty sure that nobody is missing you on the server. What you did is an immature act, and all you have succeed at doing is getting everyone to hate you, and I'm pretty sure that Vinny is not happy. Now because of what you did got him banned. Congrats at getting yourself and Vinny banned from this awesome server.
