It's a bit tricky to get your mods to stay with this method, what I did was move my existing Minecraft.jar file to C:\~~~\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions\1.5.2 and rename it 1.5.2.jar. Then you have to keep the jar file open with Jzip (or whatever zip program you use) and click play in the launcher. because the jar file is open the launcher won't rewrite it, and you'll have your mods.
This is somewhat of an annoyance and unnessicary as you can still use the old launcher for 1.5.2, and play 1.6 via the new launcher.

I've Lost me Treasure map!!!!
Tis somewhar in the depths of Davey Jones Locker. It's a shot in the dark, but for whoever finds me map, thar be 50,000 noobs awaitin'!
Treasures have been added to the course,
I tried to add enough so everybody could get something along the way.
Please don't be greedy, and no Teleporting within the maze.
Play Fair so that everybody can have a good time.
Keep in mind that Mobs are enabled so plan accordingly.
Photo is my inventory on one chest stocking run, and a chest hidden in the maze.

currently shut down. adding treasure chests along the path and a bit of fine tuning. hope to open again early (for me at least) tomorrow.

Just did my final test run, everything should be working now.
Pleas let me know if any of you adventurers encounter any issues.
I will be adding prize chests hidden around the course next week, as well as a grand prize at the finish line.

The map shows how to get to the entrance of the maze, and the pic of the entrance lets you know what your looking for.
The yellow star is tortuga's town spawn and the red arrow points to the entrance.
